We're going to....

Disney World!!  That is right - mom and dad surprised me this week and told me the news!  They decided for their 10th wedding anniversary that we would all go and celebrate together!   Mommy wishes she had her video camera on when they told me because I went CRAZY!  Once they told me I looked at each of them with a shocked face and then started screaming and running around and around upstairs...so excited!  I can't wait until the middle of September!

Happy 85th Birthday Gigi!!

Today is Gigi's 85th birthday and we all got together to celebrate!!  We had a wonderful lunch and then played and talked around the dinner table!  It was such a great time!  We love you Gigi!

I made Gigi a card and even the envelope!  I wrote Gigi and Kate on it!  

 On the other side of the envelope I wrote "Happy Birthday"...can you believe I did that?!?

Saturday Fun!

Nama Vicki and Papa Dick came to play yesterday and we had lots of fun!  We played and played, went out to eat, went to the mall, went swimming at the neighborhood pool, made crafts and even watched "Captain America"!  It was so fun and I love it when they come into town to play!

We made necklaces out of the sea shells we found in Gulf Shores. It was such a great craft project and we made necklaces for LOTS of people!  It was amazing how many pretty shells already had little holes in them for the string!  Once the necklaces were done we bagged and labeled them for each person!  It was such a fun project!

Justin Guitar!!

You will not believe what I scored yesterday while shopping with Nama Vicki and mommy....a Justin Beiber guitar/keyboard for $4.99 - can you believe they were clearancing a JB item???  I LOVE it and keep playing it and calling it "my band".  I bring my microphone and amp to the band for a jam session!

Golf Girl!

We were shopping for golf clubs for Daddy and I thought that was pretty boring until I saw how cool the stores are and that they have kids golf stuff.  I loved playing with the pink clubs and dreaming of all the fun I would have with all the pink clubs and accessories!  Daddy and I even got to put in the store...so cool!

At the moment pink golf clubs are on my Christmas list (yes, I already have one in my mind)...we will how they stack against all the dreams of princess stuff come December!

Chuck-E-Cheese!

It had been such a long time since we last went to Chuck-E-Cheese, but since it has been so darn hot we decided to beat the heat and PLAY!!  It was so much fun!  My favorite thing to do was to get my picture taken and get licenses made...I got 21 done!  Hee hee!!

Just the right picture...

I have been begging mommy forever to get a good picture of Lambie so we can get it printed and I can put it in my locket.  The trick is to get a tiny picture of him so it will fit.  I want to put a picture of my kids in my locket just like mommy has a picture of me in hers!  Smile Lambie!!

Text Bands!

I could not wait for Text Bands (the product mommy and her team made at Hallmark) came out!  As soon as it released I asked mommy to bring us some home!  I also requested the pipnk sparkle band!  Here I am trying it out...super cool (even though it is for kids 6-12 and I can't spell)!!!  Bump Fists and trade messages...MAGIC!

Cousin FUN!

Today we played at the pool and then over at Aunt Jenny's for dinner with all my cousins, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Rob, Nama, mommy and daddy.  It was such a fun day.  We even played wedding and wedding reception.  Tom was the groom, I was the bride and the rest of the cousins were the rest of the wedding party (Anna was even the mother of the bride).  We got married over and over and then had our reception tons of times.  Each time we had a reception Tom and I would walk down the stairs, get introduced as husband and wife and I would throw my bouquet!

"Freckles"

Mommy has lots of "freckles" on her legs at night and I tell her they are itchy and tickly.  She laughs and always tells me they are called "whiskers," not freckles.  I am not sure why I can't remember that!

One of my favorite books is "Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus".  I know all the words and love to read it to mom and dad.  Daddy loves it when I read about "cousin Herb" because I say it "cousin Urb"...for some reason he asks me to say it over and over again.  I am not sure why...I say it right.

Blog Quota

It appears that mommy has to either delete photos from the Blog or buy more memory for the Blog as it appears we have gone over our memory quota from Google.  Such a bummer.  Mommy is torn - she does not want to spend a monthly fee (although it is really small) to maintain the blog with added pictures, but she does not have the heart to delete the precious pictures from when I was a baby. 

Looks like we will be buying more memory this weekend!  More pictures here we come!

Voicemail for mom

Yesterday mommy was at a doctors appointment.  When she got out of the appointment she had this voicemail:
"Hi mommy, it's Kate.  I want to eat dinner at Nama and Papa's with Tom.  Can I and can you pick me up later?"

Mommy laughed so hard - I did not ask if "we" could all eat over at Nama and Papa's.  i just asked if I could and basically told her she could just pick me up after dinner.  She thinks I am getting big.

Cousins!

Tom, Meghan and Matt are in town from Texas and boy are we having fun!!!  Yesterday we played and played and hugged and hugged. We even got to have dinner there last night AND tonight!  We have played outside, been on the swings, sprayed each other with the hose, played in the basement, played house, played mommy and daddy and had a BLAST!  Mommy has to do a better job at taking pictures (or borrowing some of Aunt Jenny's)!  Pictures coming soon!

Summer Camp

Today was my last day of summer camp.  I got to go over to Sydney's house this morning before camp to play.  We did lots of playing and had breakfast and then headed over to camp.  We got to bring our bike to camp and had a bike parade!  I even got a bike drivers license with my picture on it!

Camp was really fun and I can't wait to do more next year!  Mommy learned a lot this year with camps...there are tons of inexpensive, but amazingly fun Vacation Bible Schools through different churches. They typically run a few days to a week at a time,  but they are great. This is the route we will go next year, although I had a blast this year!  I especially loved going to all my camps with Sydney!

Nama Vicki and Papa Dick

Nama Vicki and Papa Dick came to see us yesterday!  I love it when that happens!  They came to our house to play, then we went to Gorden Beirsch for lunch and went to an exotic fish store....it was SO cool.  I now have a fish on my Christmas list!  I really want some of the colorful salt water fish, but I guess you have to have the fancy aquariums and mom does not seem excited about that!! 

It was SO hot out (at one point it said 108 degrees in moms car) that we went back home and played and watched movies, then went to Jose Peppers for dinner and then they had to head back to Pittsburg! 

I hope they bring stuff to stay the night next time!!!  :)

So happy...

I am so happy that Aunt Jenny, Uncle Rob, Anna and Ashley moved so close to us!  It means we get to see them a lot.  Yesterday Aunt Jenny, Anna and Ashley came over and played for a bit. It was so cool having them in my playroom!  we had the best time!  Then, after we all went out to dinner together...a quick spur of the moment plan!  Now that they love so close we can do things spur of the moment!  YEA!  SO MUCH FUN!  Here we are having fun playing!
