Swim

Tonight was another fun workout at the pool.  I'm at Midwest for another few weeks and then swim team begins!  My coach says I'm great at Butterfly and Freestyle!! I know my least favorite is the breast stroke!  Excited for swim team this summer!!!

First Communion...scooter time!

First Communion...party!

We had everyone over for a little part after church! Nama, Papa, Nama Vicki, Gigi, the Stilley' and even Great Uncle Lee and Kristi were over for the party!  We had yummy sherbet punch, popcorn mixes, Jalepenos chips and salsa,cake and ice cream and frui salad!  Yum!

I opened gifts, we played and watched the Royals game!  Super fun!!

I begged and begged to get this outfit off and to get comfy once we got to the house.  As soon as the last of the pictures were taken I raced upstairs, but not before mom decided she wanted staircase pictures.  You have got to be kidding me!

First Communion mass

The mass was nice.  I walked down to my seat with all the other kids and was super happy to see all my family there for me!  My seat even allowed me to turn around (lots) and smile at them!  My cousins were always ready with a wave and a silly face!!

I was a bit nervous for the whole event, but it was easy.  I had my first communion and ate the bread (which I decided tasted like styrofoam), but passed on the wine (given yesterday's attempt).

It's pretty cool that I'm now big enough to have communion at church!

Dad took me to the parish hall while mom ran into the church to save seats for everyone!  While in the parish hall I got to hang with Lily, Bella and Will from school and even got my picture with Father Brian!!

First Communion preparations

I missed the ccd where they had us try wine to prepare for First Communion.  In order to get ready for the big day, mom and dad let me try wine yesterday.  Here are some pictures that do a great job telling that story...
