Crafty Girls!

I made the stained glass cross at school and we LOVE it SO much!  Mom made the wreath the other day by spray painting a twig wreath robin egg blue, painting an "H" cream and tying a burlap ribbon on the top.  We just love these 2 projects together!!!

Hoppy Easter!!!

Tonight we made another cake to take to the Easter party tomorrow!  We made a bunny poke and pour jello cake and it looks so YUMMY and cute!  I can't wait to eat both our cakes tomorrow!  Now that we used the bunny cake pan we may have to get lots of shaped cake pans because it sure makes making cakes and rice krispie treats so much more fun!!!

Easter Eggs!!!

Tonight we had so much fun dying our Easter eggs!  We dipped them in all sorts of color combinations and then filled the eggs with Princess stickers when they were dry!  We made an egg with all Rapunzel stickers, one with all Snow White, one with all Belle, one all Aerial, one with all different Princesses, one with my name on it and lots of fun other eggs!  I thought it was so cool!  I loved the egg station we had and had a blast dipping and decorating!  Mom said we can make egg salad with the eggs tomorrow...YUMMY!

Happy Easter!

Screened in room time!

Mom got the screened in room all ready for the season the other night and we are really excited!  Now that it is getting warmer we will be spending more time out there!  We love the new pillows and new colors of the room: orange and red!!  Mom picked up the pillows and some new orange accessories for the season!  We even found these really cool white side tables for a steal:  they are $179 each at Pottery Barn and we found them at Marshall's for $39!!!  Deals, deals, deals!!!  Now we just need to add some real flowers once it gets a bit warmer and it will officially be ready for spring and summer!

House update!!!

Last week Nama, mommy and I were shopping at Home Goods and mommy found these great blue and white chairs that spurred redecorating ideas!!!  She bought those chairs and moved our leather chairs into the hearth room (replacing the patterned chairs).  She fell in love with it all so much that she started to do lots of little and inexpensive projects to update and freshen up the house!

First...new chairs to lighted the room!

Then a new rug for the entry way.  She also moved the dining room lights into the Great room behind the couch and added some new light accessories.

You can see the lighter entry rug below.  We still need to work on the decorations on the buffet, but we did move a different light in here and a picture.

Here is a close up of the Great room - you can also see the leather chairs in the hearth room.  More pictures of that room to be taken in awhile.

We love how it brightened up the room and made it ready for spring!
Since we leaned in the blue we added some blue and white into the downstairs bathroom.  Mom painted a big "H" for above the toilet and found the orchid in a blue container from Marshall's.

She found a blue towel and then did a craft project to update the picture.  She found cool fabric and replaced the picture with the fabric...we love it!  It pulls in the orange and blues so we do not have to repaint the bathroom!

She did the fabric project to the 3 big pictures in the upstairs hallway and brightened up that space too.  It was really inexpensive: $2 for paint to repaint the mattes and $18 for the fabric that covered 4 big pictures (with extra fabric in the basement for other projects)!

We LOVE our house and how fun it looks this season!  We are looking for more fun craft projects to update!!!!

Soccer Debut!

Today was a very exciting day....my very first soccer game EVER!  Nama Vicki, Papa Dick, mommy, daddy and I got to filed 3 a bit early to scope it out and look for my team.  I am joining a team that has been playing together for awhile.  My team is called the Ladybugs and our jersey's are red!  I got to meet my Coach's" Coach Andrew and Coach Kate!  They are very nice!  I was also excited to see that Peyton and Ella (twins from my school) and Katelyn (from cheer leading) are on my team!

Today we played against my friend Avery from school and we saw my best friend Addison from school.  Mom and Nama Vicki also saw Miss Lori and Sydney there....it was a happening place!

I did such a good job today! I practiced with the kids in the beginning.  Although this was all new to me I really was not that nervous and just joined right in!  When the game started I ran right along with the other kids and really hustled!  I kicked the ball a few times too.  It was really fun!  They have us play 3 on 3 and we play in 4 minute sessions, then take a 4 minute break!  When I was on my first break I turned to mom and asked "when will I get to go back in"?  I loved it and wanted to play all day!

A few minutes into the game it started raining and then pouring pretty hard.  It was fun playing in the rain!  At another break I said "we have scored 3 goals and the other team has scored 4.  we need to score more".  Everyone was shocked I was keeping score in my head because no one else was....I guess I am a competitive gal!

At the end of the game I was sad it was over and I am SO excited to come back and play again!  Coach Kate and Coach Andrew said I did an excellent job and that you would never know it was my first game ever!  Everyone was so proud of me and excited that I LOVE it so much!

After the game we all went to Johnny Brusco's to have pizza and celebrate!!

Soccer picture

I drew this picture last night.  It is of me and the other soccer players on my team.  I told mom they were all wearing pony tails, but me and that we were playing soccer in the rain.  I was SO excited for my very first soccer game.  Right when I woke up this morning I said..."today is soccer, I am so excited".  I then jumped out of bed and told mom and dad I was in a hurry to go to soccer and could not eat breakfast.  They then told me I had over 3 hours until soccer and that I could rest and eat breakfast...boy was I excited!

First day of gymnastics!

Today was my first day of gymnastics!  I had not been in over a year, but was excited to do it again (as long as they did not make me do all that bar stuff....it hurts my belly)!  Well, I did have fun, even though they made me do the bar!  In fact, I was able to do the bars all by myself after a few practices with my coach!!

Nama Vicki and Papa Dick even came in town to watch me!  After gymnastics we had a quick change and then headed to my very first soccer game ever!  I was SO EXCITED!!!
