Coronavirus Impact

It has been a crazy handful of days.  While we had been following Coronavirus in China and Europe, its impact to the US hit last week with heavy impact to come.  Given the recommendations, we have been practicing social distancing and staying home as much as possible.  That means lots of tv, Harry Potter marathon, baking of lots of yummy desserts and trying new dinners, lots of deep cleaning, tons of hand washing and stocking up on groceries, supplies & medicine.  Mom and Dad are working from home and I am on Spring Break this week.  We anticipate more time home into next week and who knows how much longer.

It is scary and new, but we are enjoying our time together.  Praying that this passes fast and that all are safe.  We love you!

Heart of Gold Volleyball Tournament

My team had our best tournament yet!  We played well, played as a team, did well and had lots of fun!  We ended up finishing in 3rd place in the Gold bracket (the highest bracket). I played awesome and even had an amazing serving streak with over 10 points in a row for my team!

Short Course Championships

We were super lucky as short course swim championships was close to home - in Lenexa in the beautiful new facility!  Unfortunately, my googles came off on my dive for the 100 Fly.  I was super bummed as it was my best event and most likely to get on the podium.  Regardless, I had a great weekend with some good times.

Family photo wall

Mom decorated our upstairs hall with the new frames she got for Christmas!  She put family photos and photos of me throughout the years.  We just love it.  Maybe we need to fill the entre hall with more photos!!
