Long Course Champs- Columbia, MO
Dad snd I went to Columbia for swim champs. Mom had to stay with Mia after her surgery.
Mia’s surgery
Poor Mia started to have eye troubles. What started out as dry eye turned into an extremely painful hole in her cornea that required emergency surgery.
Poor Mia had to have her eyeball removed. She was such a trooper and actually felt and acted better after her surgery than before.
She has a cataract in her other eye (due to her diabetes), so we will have to get her cataract removal surgery soon so she does not go blind.
Poor Mia- she has had a rough year. xoxo
Wedding day -part 1
We had a blast at the wedding. Everything was beautiful and it was a blast hanging out with family. We had a cousin table at the reception snd we all danced the night away…even grandpa who surprised everyone with his moves on the dance floor. It was priceless.
Rehearsal dinner day
We got to Erie the day before the wedding and got to hang out with everyone! We basically went from one meal to the next all day!
We finished the day with the rehearsal happy hour and then I went with my Dad, Uncles and Vince’s wedding party to a casino! Dad ended up winning about $500…!!
Long Course District Champs
While mom was in Ohio I was kinking butt in Wichita! I had a new tech suit and I was flying in the pool! I got a personal best in every event and qualified for many champs times!!
We had to crash outside in the 100+ degree temps, but it was all worth it!
Here I am on a call with mom! She took some screenshots while on FaceTime. Look at that fancy tech suit!!
Grandpa’s Trailer
Mom, dad and I headed to Ohio for the trailer and then Erie, PA for Vince and Alex’s wedding. We started at the trailer and had a blast! Grandpa, Aunt Linda and Uncle Pat joined us.
We fished (I caught a few), took walks, went out to dinners and I got to spend special time with Grandpa as he took me in a golf cart ride around the park.
So glad we made the trip!
Love,
Love,
Anne
