State Swim: They did it again!!

BVSW- back to back State swim champs!!  So proud of Kate, her teammates and coaches!  Kate swam the 100 fly, 100 back and 200 medley relay (where she swam the back).  Her relay finished 4th and the team looked great both days!  Amazing to win two years in a row!

After the win we all went to celebrate at Minsky’s for pizza!

Peaceful work day

Kate came up with a plan for Olive to get some rest during the work day!  This way Winnie leaves her alone! Olive loves it!

State Swim Send Off

Thursday before State was the send off at the school!  There were tons of kids, the band playing and the Athletic Director announcing the team to the school!  Such a fun event! Go BVSW!

State Swim!

 Official state team!  Go BVSW!

First Lake Visit of the Season!

We spent Mother’s Day weekend at the lake getting it all ready for the season!  Power washing, setting out outdoor furniture, stocking the fridge, fixing the fireplace, and redecorating the house after it got painted!  A busy weekend where we accomplished so much.  The house looks beautiful!  We were able to get out to a few yummy dinners and loved hanging out with mom and dad…and celebrating Mother’s day!

College visit #4 (unofficial)

On our drive back from U of A we stopped at Pitt State where Todd gave Kate an unofficial tour!  We saw the football field, practice facility, Student Union and some campus buildings.   Then we surprised Nama Vicki at her work!!

College Visit #3

College visit #3 was University of Arkansas!  We went in the day before the official visit and explored the campus and Fayetteville.  Kate thought the campus was beautiful and really loved seeing the things I loved (including my dorm and Kappa house)!

Things have changed so much since I’ve been there.  It’s certainly grown but is still as beautiful as ever.  I wonder where she will choose??!!

Cupping

Kate’s swim trainer does cupping on her back.  It looks horrible but Kate loves to get it done as it helps her back aches and pain.  Ouch!
