Mrs. Freytag
After I won the Colt Citizen award Mrs. Freytag said to me "you could win that award every month Kate"!! I love my teacher!
Celebration!
Tonight we celebrated my straight A report card and my Colt Citizen award!! We had dinner at Jalepenos, played tons of games at the new Dave and Busters and then stopped at Sweet Caroline's for dessert!!
I was able to pick anywhere I wanted to go and I picked well!! Such a fun night!

Volleyball tournament
Today we kicked off the volleyball season with a tournament! We played 4 matches this morning and were the 2nd seed (out of 7 teams)!! We had a lunch break and then came back and won both matches of the quarter finals! We hung out for awhile until the semi final matches. We won the first match, lost the second match and then it all came down to the third match...!! It was a close one, but unfortunately we could not hold the match and lost, finishing 3rd! Oh why oh why don't they give trophy's for 3rd place???
It was sure good practice to kickstart the volleyball season!

Colt Citizen
This week I was awarded with the Colt Citizen award during our school assembly! It was a surprise that I won and that so much of my family came to celebrate me!!
The award is given to students that display the Blue Valley Virtues (respect, responsibility, compassion, courage, perseverance, self-discipline, and honesty) at Timber Creek.
I was so excited to win!!
As the Colt Citizen for my class I was able to pick a way to celebrate....so, I picked a pj day this Monday!!!
