The heats...

Here I am competing!!  It was so awesome!  Every time I would finish a race I would look at mom (who was at the end of the pool where I finished) and asked if I got first place!!  I want first place!

Written on and ready to go!!

In order to know when I race at my meets, you have to write races on your arm or leg!!  Aunt Jenny marked me all up!  The first number represents the event, second number is your heat and third number is your lane!

I competed in 5 events:

-Butterfly

-Relay medley- I swam the butterfly with Anna on my team!

-the 100 IM- where I swam all 4 strokes myself.  Wow!

- backstroke 

-freestyle relay- Anna was on my team for this one too!

I even had to write my name on my back!  We learned the marker cones off with spray sunscreen!

The Walsh family

This week moms uncle Tim, Aunt Christie and cousins Kate, Mary, Anne and Joe all came in town and stayed at Namas for 3 days!  I was able to spend some time with them shopping, walking at the Arboretum, eating at Jalepenos and just hanging out!  Fun to be with them!
