Lawrence weekend of Sports

We spent the entire weekend in Lawrence this weekend as I competed in District Swim Championships and had a volleyball tournament.  We even stayed in a hotel both Friday and Saturday night. 

Volleyball went better than expected with our first set win in a long time followed by a game win (2 sets)!  We had some great moments and I had some fun!

Districts went really well too with a day full of personal bests! 

We were able to enjoy some of Lawrence too with nice dinners, but had early bed times to get rest for the next busy day!

I am 12!!!

I had a great 12th birthday!  It started with a cinnamon roll and smoothie for breakfast, a decorated locker (thanks to my friends) at school, shopping at Lululemon, dinner at Kyoto and opening presents!!  I love birthdays!!

Volleyball Tournament Weekend

Presidents weekend was the Triple Crown tournament and we got to play at the Mavs facility.  It was a 3 day tournament and it was a tough one for us.  It certainly made me tougher - I think.  After all, we did not win one single set in 3 days.  Bright side is that I played well - good serves and good hits.  The team just does not have it together.  Boo!

We had a team party Saturday night.  It was nice to hang out with the girls and the families.

My Party!

We had so much fun!  Willow, Addi, Taylor, Peyton, Lily, Mia, Reece and I all had a blast!  We had a blast making waitress mom work hard serving us at the dinner party, loved eating all the candy and sweets at the dessert cart, loved watching movies and hanging out together!  I have such a great group of friends and I loved my 12th birthday party!

12th Birthday Decorations

My 12th birthday theme was Dinner Party.  We started with a cocktail hour, had a dinner party (complete with dessert cart and lots of dessert options), games and tons of fun.  For breakfast we even had a donut bar station!
