Florida: The drive!

Our drive to Destin from KC was really long - like 14+ hours long (I think)!  we did the drive in 2 days and I was lucky enough to be able to ride in the Stilley's car with my cousins!  We each had a bag packed with lots of entertainment for the long ride and we watched TONS of movies! 

We made TONS of stops - either to fix the stuff on top of Papa's car, to potty or to eat!  

We ended up staying the night in Alabama somewhere on our drive down (we even saw a few fireworks from the hotel parking lot - since it was the 4th of July) and then had a late pizza dinner in the hotel room!  The next day we got up bright and early and headed to Destin!

We stopped at a really cute fruit stand called "Papa's" and got lots of fruits and veggies for the beach house.  Then we were THERE!!!  WOOHOO!

Florida: First day!

After our 2 day drive from Kansas City to Destin, we arrived around lunch time.  We planned on meeting the Fimmen's At Fudpucker's for lunch, but the wait was way too long, so we took a look at the alligators and then went to a Mexican restaurant for lunch.  

We were super excited when ALL the cousins were together...we practically partied right in the restaurant!

After we headed to our beach house, got settled in and hit the beach right away!

After swimming and building sand castles, we all decided to bury Papa!  SO fun!  That night we had a yummy dinner and played like crazy!

Florida: beautiful beach house!

Nama found the most beautiful beach house...we were VERY lucky to stay at such an amazing place!  It had 5 bedrooms (3 master bedrooms), was steps from the beach, was only 2 years old and was decorated amazingly!  It should be in a magazine!

Mom was quick to take some pictures right when we got there (and before we quickly destroyed it)!  Look how pretty it is!

It was located on a lake and just steps from the amazing beach and beautiful water.  We were also within walking distance to the grocery store and the outlet mall...AWESOME!

All 6 of us BIG cousins even got to stay in the same BIG bunk room...TOTALLY AWESOME!

Pool Party!!

On Saturday morning and afternoon (before the wedding) The Fimmen clan took over the hotel pool and had a BIG pool party!  All the cousins played like crazy while Uncle Jim and Uncle Lee entertained us!

After swimming we had lunch (pizza) in the conference room and then all rested in our rooms before the BIG night of partying!

Rehearsal Dinner

Here are pictures from Chris' rehearsal dinner Friday night.  Mom let me use the camera, so most of these pictures are taken by me!

We had yummy BBQ and really amazing cupcakes and then played all night long!  After the party there was an after-party in Nama and Papa's suite...I was the lucky youngest kid there!  We even had late night PIZZA!  SO MUCH FUN!
