Award ceremony for Anna

I was really excited to go to Anna's volunteer award ceremony at her school today!  I was excited to cheer her on and excited that Nama got to check me out of school an hour early!!!

After the cool ceremony, we went to the Stilley's house to celebrate with dessert and then mom joined for dinner!  

We even did a dance performance for the adults!!

Such a fun night!

Spelling Bee!

Today the teachers surprised us with a spelling bee.  They said it was for us to understand what a spelling bee is since we will be participating in an all 4th grade one in a few years.

First we did the spelling bee in our class and I was one of four kids to advance to the all 2nd grade spelling bee!  OMG!

I was not nervous for my class spelling bee, but an all 2nd grade spelling bee is a different story!  We all met in the library and I got the easy, medium and advanced words all right.  I got stumped on the hard word "emerald".   I did really good though and was one of the last kids left in 2nd grade and only one kid in my class best me!

It was pretty awesome and I got a cool certificate!!!
