Thanksgiving weekend movie!!

No thanksgiving day weekend would be complete without a movie at the theater!  We went to see Creed ( from the Rocky movies) and it was awesome!!!

Pie making day!!!

We started a new annual tradition....pie making at Nama and Papa's the day before thanksgiving!!

We made 4 yummy pies: Apple, Dixie, cookie and lemon cream!!!  Yum!  I picked out and made the lemon!!  It was so fun!!!

Happy thanksgiving!!

We had a busy, but great thanksgiving this year!  We drive to Pittsburg and Parsobs for a Hirton thanksgiving and got to see and catch up with the 59 guests at that event!!!

Then we drove back to KC and dinner at Nama and Papas!  Such good food and fun!  We even stayed the night as mom did big Black Friday shopping!  I love family holidays!!

School conferences

Mom had my conference with Mrs. Maher this past week and it was an awesome conference!  She said that I am in advanced reading and reading really well!  My fluency is off the charts!  I read 105 words per minute.  They often have concern with kids that read that fast because they are afraid they do not comprehend it, but I do!!  Yea me!

I am also doing great in math! The bottom timed test was my last evaluation.  They wanted me to get a 50% grade to be in track and I got a 97%!!

My MAP scores have also improved greatly from first grade!  This is a good year!

Mrs. Maher said I am a sweet girl and am a bit quiet in large groups.  She said she has to push me to try to answer when I am not 100% sure if the answer.  All things I am working on!  She did say that I contribute well in smaller groups....that is when I feel most comfortable!

Mom and dad were very proud of me!!

Pre-competitive swim!!

Last week at swim I was asked if I wanted to join Midwest Aquatics pre-competitive swim team class as I decided to try it out tonight!  The kids in my class are a lot bigger than me, but I sure learned a lot!  I even dive off the starting block for the first time!  It was one long hour of swim!  They had us going laps all night long!!  I love swim!

Dinner with the family!!!

Last night we had a fun impromptu dinner at the Stilley's.  Nama, Papa, Gigi and Uncle Bob and all of us had lots of fun eating, dancing, playing and performing!  We had to show Uncle Bob how to whip a Nae Nae!!

Holiday Boutique

Today was the annual holiday boutique!  Mom, Nama and Aunt Jenny spent the day there and then mom picked me up from school and she, dad and I headed there!  It was dads first time there (maybe his last), but boy did I have fun!  We shopped, sat in some fabulous massage chairs and shopped some more!  Awesome!

Happy 60th birthday Papa!!

For Papa's birthday we got him and Nama a stay at the Intercontinental on the Plaza.  They had such a fun few days with happy hours, dinner at Plaza III, shopping City Market m, exploring and relaxing!  We are so happy they enjoyed it!

Letter to Santa!!

Play date!!

Last Sunday Addi and I had an early morning play date!  We made pretzels in the Easy Bake Oven, played like crazy and had hot cocoa in our Santa mugs!!!  So fun!

Pittsburg

Today we went to Pittsburg to hang out with everyone and celebrate Uncle Chris being in town!  We had a tummy lunch and dinner, shopped at the mall and hung out at Nama and Papa's house!  Lots of fun!!
