Total eclipse = totally cool

We had fun watching the total eclipse at school!  We saw it get darker (but not completely dark), the bugs chirped louder (in fact, a HUGE green beetle came running out of the grass right toward us as we were laying on the ground watching the eclipse) and the moon moved right over the sun!  Pretty cool, although the clouds came on thick right at the end!

Pool party!!

Reece invited our volleyball team over for a pool party yesterday and we had a blast!  They had a beautiful pool and we had SO much fun playing!  The mom's also had a great time catching up!  I could do this every single day!!  Awesome!!

Dinner and a movie

Friday night we went to AMC for dinner and a movie in the theater!  We had a yummy dinner and watched Spiderman!!  What a fun night!

FIRST DAY OF 4TH GRADE!!!

Today is the first day of 4th grade and I was excited for school!  I got up, got ready by myself and even did my hair all by myself (in a Sophia pull back)!  I love my sparkly dress, but wish I could have worn my high heals to go with it (but my darn leg would not let me)! 

Addi and Miss Jennifer came and picked us up and we went to Lamar's for a donut and milk breakfast!  I love that we have a tradition of going to the first day of school with Addi!  We then went to school and got our picture by the Colt and mom dropped me off in my class.  I would not let mom take any pictures of me in my classroom - looks like she snuck one in when I was not looking!

Can't wait to tell you how the day goes!  I am sure the day will be fabulous since I have a great teacher and my BFFs in my class!!

Meet the Teacher Night!

Last night was the best Meet the Teacher night ever!  I got the teacher I wanted (Mrs. Smith) and I am in class with my 2 BFFs (Addi and Lily)!!  So wonderfully awesome!  Addi was at soccer practice, so missed out on the night and pictures!

40th Girls trip

Mommy and her BFFs celebrated their 40th birthday's together with a fun long weekend at The Elm's resort.  They layed out at the pool, talked, laughed, got massages, drank, ate and had a blast!!

Mom loves Ed so much that she went to see him in concert again!  This time in Los Angeles with Nicole.  They extended a business trip and had a fun night out!  I sure wish I could have gone with them!

Staying with Nama!

Both mom and dad were on work travel last week and I was super lucky to get to spend 3 nights with Nama!!  We had happy hour, played, rested (my leg was still bothering me), Nama made me do stuff to try to walk around and we had lots of fun!  Here we are having happy hour and then later dessert!!
