First ever volleyball game!!!

Yesterday was my first volleyball match and it was so awesome!  I was nervous at first because I was afraid I would not be able to serve and the other team would get points from me each time I served!  I was having troubles serving in practice, but something clicked right before the game and I got it!!!

I played like a rockstar and served really really well!!  I was always in ready position like coach taught us and we played so well!!!  So well that we won all 6 of our 6 matches!!!!!!  Woo hoo!  We had a morning set of matches and then came back for the 2:20 set of matches and I wish we had a night set of matches!!!  I want to play some more!  Go Volley Girls!!

I have decided volleyball is my second favorite sport after swim!!  Love it!

Mums!!

Today was Labor Day and we got our lives all organized!!!  Dad had special coupons, so he took Nama and Papa's cars to get cleaned.  While he did that, we took Nama to Johnson Farms and picked out 6 beautiful mums!!!  And the somehow all fit in mom's rental car!!!  We can't wait to see the bloom!  I picked out a super pretty pink mum with little yellow centers for the backyard!!

After mums we ran errand and then spent the afternoon painting the guest room, organizing our pantry, updating our front step for fall, putting up new pictures and getting the house pretty!!  We loved the extra day off!!!  Wish we had another!!!

Irishfest!!!!

We had another great year at the Irishfest!!  In fact, this ma be our favorite event in KC!!!  We listened to great music, danced like crazy, ate yummy food, played, got a henna tattoo!!!!, got We Bajo 3's autograph (again) and had a fantastic time!!  We know where we will be next Labor Day weekend!! Pittsburg fun!!

Today we had a blast in Pittsburg visiting Nama Vicki, Papa Dick, Gigi and Gipa.  We started off by heading to Cafe Del Rio for yummy cheese dip and then shipped like crazy at the mall!  I even got my nails done at the salon!!  

We stopped at a disappointing year at Little Balkins day but made up for it with a fantastic fried chicken dinner at Picklers Chicken Annie's!!!  Yum!

We ended the day with special times with Gigi and Gipa!  Such a great day!!

Pittsburg Fun!!!

We headed to Pittsburg for a super fun day hanging out with Nama Vicki, Papa Dick, Gigi and Gipa!!!  We started with lunch at Cafe Del Rio (yum to the cheese dip), then spent some quality time shopping the mall!!!  I found lots of treasures, per the usual!  After we stopped by a disappointing Little Balken Days festival and then hung out at Nama and Papa's house!  I chose Pickler Chicken Annie's for dinner....Yum to good fried chicken and German sides!!!  After we stopped at Gigi and Gipa's to catch up and give hugs and kisses!!!  It was a great day!!
