"Smell my breath"

I love good smelling breath! After I eat mints or brush my teeth I tell everyone to..."smell my breath"! I think it is pretty funny! I will even ask to smell your breath if I think it will smell good!

"Let's talk"

I have another plan to extend my bedtime routine. As soon as mom and I start rocking in the rocking chair I say "let's talk". Doing that extends my bed time routine by at least 3 minutes as mom and I talk about all sorts of things...from my upcoming birthday party, school, what I did at Nama's house...anything really!

Then, after mom is done with me dad comes in and I say the same thing..."let's talk" to dad. We then talk and talk!

It is so fun and I am so glad I started it!

SCRAP!

That is right folks, our donated computer is scrap! Goodwill pulled it all apart and sold off the parts...so, all my impromptu Flip video of me growing up the past year or so are gone forever. Oh well, right? We still have our DVD video camera stuff - THANK GOODNESS!

Mommy has officially retired the Flip Camera...forever!

Mommy is sick....

We got a new computer and got rid of our old one. Aunt Jenny took our backup hard drive to burn DVD of all our Flip Videos of the past few years (we could not burn it before because our computer did not have a DVD burner)...only problem is there is not any videos on the hard drive. WE LOST ALL OUR MOVIES!

We are really sad because mommy always did such a good job at documenting and keeping everything as I grew up. Our only chance is if daddy can get the computer back from the place he donated it to to get the videos from it. Cross your fingers and say a prayer everyone. Mommy is really sad. At least they still have some videos from the other video camera....stupid technology!

Mulan

We rented Mulan from the video store the other day! It was the first time I have ever seen it and I really loved it! Because I wanted to look and dress like Mulan I finally wore the dress mommy brought me from China! Isn't it cute?

The other day I did a fashion show! It was so much fun! I put on lots of my pretty dresses, modeled for mommy and daddy, got my picture taken and played!

I said things like "isn't this a dream come true dress?" and "have you ever saw a dress like this? it is soooo beautiful!"

Weight Watchers

Tonight when mommy, daddy and I were driving home from Nama and Papa's house daddy asked us if we wanted to go to Jalepenos for taco night. Mommy said she did not and then I said "I don't want to go to Jalepeno daddy. I am on weight watchers too!"

Social maturity!

According to Parents Magazine "you yawned,didn't you? Now yawn in front of your baby or toddler. Nothing, right? Turns out, contagious yawning is a sign of social maturity that kids don't display until they're about 4years old, according to a new University of Connecticut study."

I guess I am socially mature! I have been having "contagious" yawns with mom and dad for months now!

Texas!

I am so EXCITED because mommy, daddy, nama, papa and I all get to go to Texas for Tom's birthday party in a few weeks! It is a Pirate party and a pool party! We are going to have so much fun with everyone.

I am really excited because this will be the first time we meet Baby Matt! He is such a cutie and I really hope I can give him a big kiss!

"Whatever"

Mommy said I sounded like a teenager (and I don't think she liked it) when I told her "WHAT-EVER" and walked away from her yesterday when she asked me to clean up the playroom. Needless to say, I ended up helping her clean the playroom.

Last night at bedtime I leaned over to mommy and gave her a super long kiss! When I was done mommy asked where I learned that and I told her...."The Bachelorette". I think mommy is reconsidering my access to TV watching...uh oh!

MLK JR Day!

Mommy told me all about Martin Luther King Jr. day today and it sounds really cool - especially the part where mommy gets a day off work! I wish daddy had off work too though...poor daddy!

Mommy and I played some this morning and then we had a girls day and shopped and played all day! We picked up Nama and went to Oak Park Mall! I really love the mall (and we rarely ever go there)! We went to the Disney Store, American Girl store, Build a Bear, lots of kids clothing stores and a few Nama and Mommy stores. I found exactly what I want for my birthday at American Girl (the cutest twin dolls) and had so much fun looking at all the cool dolls and accessories!

We had a yummy lunch at Panera where I had really good mac 'n cheese, some really cool squeezable yogurt and a couple bites of a heart sprinkle cookie!

After the mall we went to Target because I wanted to see if they put out my favorite Princess dolls on display and guess what....they did! I love that display because I can stand in the cart and press the buttons to hear each of the Princesses singing...totally cool!

After that I had to take a nap, then we went to the grocery store and went home to make dinner!

I love it when there are days off of work for mommy and/or daddy!

Double Ear Infection!

That is right...last week I woke up and said to mommy "my ear hurts". Then I said "my cheek hurts"....mommy knew something was up! Luckily Daddy was able to take me to the doctors that morning and the doctor said I had a bad ear infection on one ear and another one starting in the other....DOUBLE EAR INFECTION....YUCK!

The doctor gave me some yucky pink medicine that Daddy keep saying taste like his bubble gum (doubt it)! It is gross and I freak out every morning and night they have to give it to me. I put my hand over my mouth, gag and throw all sorts of fits until the torture is over. I can tell mommy and daddy don't like it either!

Luckily my ears are better....I just had a horrible runny nose and hacking cough all weekend. We rested around the house and did lots of cuddling and now I am almost back to normal!

Hopefully that is the last sickness I get this winter!

"Tangled" Soundtrack

I love the Rapunzel move "Tangled" and I equally love its soundtrack! Mommy, Daddy and I play it super loud in the playroom while I dance, sing and act out parts of the movie! I also make mommy and daddy be Flynn Ryder or Mother Gothel! So much FUN!

New Years Day!

New Years day was really fun! We started it by waking up at Nama and Papa’s house and going downstairs to play with Anna! Nama and Papa made a very yummy breakfast and we all played some more!

Anna and I got to decorate the gingerbread house…as naked babies (so our clothes would not get messy)! We had so much fun putting on all the candy (well, Anna had fun eating it) and making such a pretty house!

Papa opened up the remote controlled helicopter we all got him for Christmas and we all got to watch him fly it around the house….it was really NEAT! He needs to practice though because it kept hitting things and crashing!

Daddy liked Papa’s helicopter so much that when we got home he opened the one he got for Christmas last year and he and I have been flying it around our house! I love it when it crashes because I get to go get it and bring it to Daddy! I have even learned to be really careful and to carry it from the bottom! I am a good helper!

The rest of New Years Day mommy took down all the Christmas decorations (mommy and I were sad to see them go) and we rested and played!

New Years Eve 2010

We spent New Years Eve in Style! We all wore our comfy clothes, packed our overnight bags and headed to Nama and Papa’s for a sleepover New Years PJ party! We had so much fun playing, watching Cinderella, eating lots of food, playing in the BIG box and watching mom, dad, Papa and Uncle Rob play Monopoly Deal card game! We even got to help Nama make homemade chocolate ice cream…YUMMY!

I got to stay up really late and watch it turn 2011 in NYC! I LOVE watching the ball drop in Time Square and kept looking for my Uncle Chris who lives in NYC…I was sure he was there with all the people!!

Aunt Jenny's Bday on the Plaza!

For many years even before I was born everyone celebrates Aunt Jenny’s birthday by having a BIG happy our on the Plaza! This year was no different – we all went to McCormick and Schmick’s for a wonderful happy hour of food, fun and drinks! I was so excited to be at the plaza….actually, so was everyone else and the rest of Kansas City because it was OVER 60 degrees and beautiful!

After the party we all walked the Plaza…I LOVED THAT! We got to hunt down all the horse carriages and I loved to watch them – especially the Cinderella carriages! Mom and Dad were going to take me on one, but I really didn’t need to go on one since I forgot my Cinderella dress. I was actually very disappointed that I did not see any princesses on the carriages (that is what I expected after all).

After the Plaza mom, dad and I drove through the plaza and spotted each and everyone of the Princesses BIG houses!

It was SUCH a FUN night!

Tangled

Nama and Papa took Aunt Jenny and I to see Tangled at the movie theater this week! It was the second time I saw it (the first time mom, dad and Nama Vicki and I went) and I loved it just as much as the first time! I think Rapunzel is one of the coolest Princesses and I love her LONG hair! I also love Flynn Rider.

I was able to wear my Rapunzel dress, bring my Rapunzel backpack and my Rapunzel doll to the movie…super COOL! I kept telling everyone which parts were my favorite!

I can not wait for it to come out in DVD so I can watch it all the time!

Ipad

My mom got the coolest gift from Dad this Christmas...an Ipad and I LOVE IT! There are all sorts of kid stuff that mom has uploaded to it already! I love the drawing ap...I can draw anything I imagine with my fingers! Everyone can not believe how quick I learned to use it! I even know where my favorite aps are and can click on them all by myself! I can not wait to get bigger so I can have my own Ipad!
