An Update

It is hard for me to remember what all I have updated everyone on...so, sorry if you have already heard some of this!

• I now can say "juice", "Down", "up", "Ba Ba" (for milk), "shoe", "wa wa" (for water), "Mur" (for Murphy), "Elmo", "do da" (just like my cousin Tom taught me) and "na na" (for no).
• I love to put everything in Murphy's water bowl (even though it makes mommy and daddy so mad and I know I should not). My new thing is to step all around in the water bowl and get soaking wet. I also like to drop my stuffed animals in the water to see if they can swim! haha!!
• I give lots of hugs and pat everyone on the back or leg or belly or face..anywhere to show them I care!
• I love to "chill" and relax by leaning back on things
• I love to sit on the big girl chairs and couches....only one rule "sit on your bottom. I know what my bottom is too!
• I make the funniest "pucker" face and sometimes say "uh oh" while I make it. It cracks everyone up!
• I have 3 molars so far and I can feel a forth one trying to break through. I hate teething!
• I started to throw temper tantrums by laying on my back and making a big fuss. For some reason mommy and daddy ignore me and it just makes me madder. I heard mommy say something about if I don't grow out of it soon they are going to try something called "time out"...I sure hope that means they will start giving me my way.
• I have finally mastered getting all the rings on the pole all by myself...and it is HARD!
• If you ask me to...I will kiss my toes!
• I am obsessed with belly buttons. I love to lift up my shirt and show you mine...I say "ding" and try to press belly buttons. I can even find the belly buttons on balls and balloons! I love belly buttons!
• I can now "Nea" like a horse and "meow" like a kitty cat!

Grama and Pa got back from Italy and I was so excited to see them!! It was so fun playing with them and all my old toys again!! I had so much fun with Grama and Pa Horton and Mom and Dad when they watched me when they were in Italy. Thanks everyone for taking such good care of me! I love you!

Party!!!

Yesterday we all went over to Aunt Jenny and Uncle Rob's house for a Mexican Fiesta party!! I got to see my cousin Peanut...boy do I miss seeing him! Grama and Pa, Mr. and Mrs. Stilley, Aaron and Henry were all there. It was fun playing with Henry...I tried to give him lots of kisses. I also tried to learn how to walk sideways and backwards from him and how to crawl down the steps! He is bigger then me and I have lots to learn!!

After dinner we walked to the playground near the house and it was so fun! I went down a HUGE slide, swung on the swings and did lots of fun stuff with everyone. I wish I had such a big playground by my house. Baby Stilley is going to just LOVE it! Grama promised me that once Baby Stilley arrives we will be spending lots of time at the Stilley house, so I am sure I will see that play ground a lot this summer! Lucky me!!

My Best Friend Came over to Play!!

I was very lucky to have mom take off work Monday! We went shopping in the morning. I was a really good girl...mom bribed me with Teddy Graham just to make sure! Then, in the afternoon my best friend Sydney came over to play. Her mom and my Aunt Jenny came over too! It was so much fun! I showed Sydney my toys and we played all over the place. We both loved playing with Baby Bella and all her equipment...the cradle and her stroller!! It is hard to share, but I tried. Sydney drinks out of a cool sippy cup and I wanted to drink out of her cup all day. Mom informed me that I have the same sippy cups and I refuse to drink out of my own...I guess Sydney's are just that much cooler!

I can't wait for my next play date!

Daddy took off work on Tuesday and we were lucky enough to get to drive down to Pittsburg for the day! We got to play with my Great Grama and Grandpa and my Grama Vicki! We went out to lunch and even got to play around the mall. I went to the arcade and then had so much fun throwing pennies in the fountain!! I kept asking for "more" and "more" pennies... I have a lot of wishes to make!!

Before I forget...

I think I forgot to mention that I can say "Elmo"! I just love my Elmo dolls. In fact, I just got a new one this week that is small and cuddly enough for me to carry everywhere.

I am really good at giving kisses now. Before if you would ask for a kiss I would give you my cheek...now I give kisses on the lips and even make a "Mmmah" sound like a kiss!

I also now say "Woe!" - it is pretty cute!

Our trip to Omaha

I am so glad that Daddy had the wonderful idea of our family going on a little vacation to Omaha. At first I thought "Nebraska? What in the world is in Nebraska?"...but it was such a fun time! We went to the Children's Museum where I played with water and got all wet, played on the slide and in a firetruck and got to meet all kinds of kids! I love other kids...I am not even afraid of the big kids...I just go right up to them to play! Sometimes I even touch them or give them hugs (if they let me). The museum had a giant room full of fun balls to play with and I thought that was really cool! Every kid rushed to fill the buckets up with balls and every few minutes all the balls in the buckets would go up into the ceiling and all fall down right on top of us...really neat stuff!

We got to eat out a lot...they even have mac and cheese and chicken fingers in Omaha! We went shopping and Daddy bought lots of stuff..not mommy this time!

We also got to go to the #2 zoo in America! It was cold and rainy, but luckily most of the exhibits were indoors. I got to see lots of fishies at the aquarium..I loved the bright colored ones. I also loved all the birdies. My most favorite animals were the monkeys!! The orangutans were just hilarious...they were trying to make us all laugh! One was even rolling around in a bucket! They would come right up the glass and scare me...but then I would laugh like crazy! All the kids loved the monkey's the best...so did mom and dad! The gorilla's were pretty cool too...but too big for me...I prefer the little monkeys!!

We got to swim in the hotel swimming pool and play around the hotel. I especially loved bed time...well, I made sure there really was not a bedtime on this vacation! Since mommy, daddy and I were all in one hotel room I could see that we did not have the same bedtimes and that was just not fair, so I decided to stay up until their bedtime. What they did not know is that I really wanted to sleep in the comfy big bed they were in, so I would wake up every few hours and they would let me lay with them! It was so cool! I wish every night was vacation!

We are going to Florida in a few weeks for a really long vacation...I can' t wait to party!! I will keep you posted!

Update on me!!

I am now 14 1/2 months old and am up to so many new tricks...I am surprising myself with all the fun things I learn and do everyday! I can now put together (and take apart) my blocks! I can do all the actions to the song "if your happy and you know it", I can scribble on my magna doodle..which is so much fun! I can say "nay" like a horsey, and "moo" like a cow. I say up when I want up (and when I want down)! I say "juice", "baba" for bottle, "wa wa" for water. I love to sing the graduation song with mommy and daddy and love to sing "la la la"...I have such a pretty voice! I give lots of hugs and kisses...even on the lips! I no longer have to say "Fa" for Murphy....instead I call her "MUR!". I can say "Elmo" and just love to play with him...he is one of my favorite toys!

I have been really busy sprouting new teeth and they hurt! I have 3 molar's now, but am cutting another right now! I love to sit on the big girl chairs and couches, but have to obey the "sit on your bottom" rule or I get taken off the big girl chair! I get in trouble with trying to play with our plantation shutters...it is just so much fun to move them up and down! I make a really funny "pucker" face that everyone thinks is just hilarious!! I say "uh oh" when I do the pucker face and get an even bigger laugh!! I like to "chill" and sit back and relax with everyone.

Sleeping is overrated!

Well, I decided I was not at all tired last night! I had such a fun night because mom and dad played with me and held me all night long. My teeth are really hurting me and I just could not stay asleep! I am sure going to be tired tonight when Grama Vicki is watching me...maybe I will nap all day and then play with mom and dad all night long. That sounds like a fun plan!! I am sure mom and dad will love it too!
