World Series Game 2: Game on!!

We got to our seats just in time to see George Brett throw in the ceremonial first pitch and listen to Phillip Phillips sing the National Anthem...all really cool!!

Now for our seats...we were up fairly high, but WHAT A VIEW!  I have to say I was surprised at how great the seats were.  They were centered over home plate....perfect World Series viewing...we saw it all and I loved the vantage point! Just awesome!

The crowd was amazing and it was such a great night!  I have never experienced anything quite like this game...so cool!  We were standing up lots of the game and always cheering on our Royals!

To top off this once in a lifetime experience....THEY WON (7-2) and tied the series 1 and 1.  Now we head to San Fransisco to WIN IT ALL!!!  GO ROYALS!

World Series Game 2: Pregame

We headed into the stadium at about 5pm (with a 7:07 game time) and had lots of time to explore.  The first person we saw was David Glass (owner of the Royals) and that was really cool!  He was walking outside signing autographs and talking to the fans!

Once we got inside the stadium we walked around and explored all the sites and set up for the big game.  We saw TV crews and tapings, did a little shopping (I got a World Series hat), got lots of Royals and World Series swag, posed with the crazy cat men and had a blast!!

It was such an amazing night and atmosphere!!!

World Series Game 2: Tailgate!!!

The Royals are in their 1st World Series since 1985 and we were LUCKY enough to go see them!  It was both Todd and my's 1st World Series and it was AMAZING!  It was a beautiful day (70 degrees), we had amazing company (mom and dad) and we ate a ton of awesome food!!

We got to the parking lot about 2:45 (the lot opened at 2).  We  had a yummy spread of appetizers, brauts and sauerkraut and the lucky apple pie!

GO ROYALS!
