Cousin Sleepover

Tonight was the big night!  It was the first of many cousin sleepovers with all the KC cousins (I love that we are all in KC)!  This sleepover was at the Stilley's where we kicked off the fun with afternoon swimming at their pool.  I hear we are going on a bike ride, playing in the back yard, watching a movie and having tons more fun to come!!!!!  Update coming soon....

Ed Sheeran Concert

Dad and I got mom Ed Sheeran tickets for her birthday.  She is obsessed and was SO excited for this night to come!  I lucked out and got to go with her (after lots of begging and because Dad ended up going on business travel).  First we had dinner reservations at the Bristol in the P&L.  We had happy hour and had fun trying different aps (calamari and sushi) and then split soup and salad!  I tried 3 drinks until I found one I liked (high maintenance)!  We then went to the concert and got to see James Blunt open.  While James was good and all, I was not all that interested.....but, that all changed when Ed came out!

Ed was awesome.  Mom said it was the best concert she has ever been too (even better than Garth)!  Mom was standing, dancing and singing every word to every some....so, I am thinking that had something to do with it!  This was the second time we saw Ed (the first was when he opened for Taylor Swift back in 2013)....he is just SO good!!!  Mom wants us to be groupies and go to more of his concerts this tour!!! I hope we do!

My last swim meet

This week was my last weekly summer swim meet until the Championships.  It was extra special because Tom, Meghan and Matt came to watch us!  They cheered us on and pumped us up before each race.  It was so much fun to have them and Nama there!  I did great and got 2 heat winner ribbons and finished 2nd overall in back and IM, 4th overall in free style and 3rd overall in Free Relay.  My Medley relay DQ's as one of he girls on my team swam the wrong stroke...boo!  It was a great meet though!!  I added backstroke to my list of top 20 in the Southland Swim Association!!  I love swim and can't wait until next year where I am 10  and the older kid in the 9-10 age group!!!

Japanese lunch experience

I was able to join the Stilley girls for an authentic Japanese lunch at one of their new neighbors house.  I tried lots of new things, we made huge bubbles and played.  It was a neat experience!

Preparing for the Fimmen's Welcome!!!

Aunt Jenny had a fabulous idea for us to make a HUGE welcome sign and fill the house and outside with balloons to welcome the Fimmen's when they drive up to Nama and Papa's house Saturday.  I think they loved it all as much as we loved making it!
