Balloons for "Jace"

I think I managed to trick mom tonight!  Tomorrow is her 40th birthday and I wanted to do something special for her without her knowing.  So, I blew up all these balloons and told her I was taking them to school for Jace's birthday tomorrow....she did not suspect a thing!! They are now in her closet until tomorrow!!

Volleyball practice

Mathletics

Today I participated in my first ever Mathletics competition at school!  We competed against Stilwell Elementary!  Everyone was on a team of 3 or 4 people and we competed against the other teams in third grade!  I was on a team of three...me and 2 boys (Dane Weninger and another boy).  It was lots of fun solving all the problems together!  In fact, super fun because we came in 2nd place!!!!  So cool!  I'm ready to sign up for the next one now!!

COOL

This week I tried out COOL to see how I liked it and if I want to be on that team.  I had practice Monday and Tuesday night for 1.5 hours and let me tell you...it was the biggest workouts of my life!!  I could not believe it!!!  I swam lap after lap after lap after lap....and the tread water more and more and more....for an entire hour and a half!  If I was not in great shape now, I sure will be soon!!  Next week I will be an official COOL swim team member!!!
