Ice Cream

While I did not need shots at today's annual doctor appointment, mom took me out for ice cream because I was a BIG GIRL!  Just kidding....I think!  I did learn that I am super tall for my age: 4' 9"!  I am in the 93rd percentile in height!  I wonder if I am going to be a tall person or just a tall 9 year old??

Chicago Day 4: All good things must come to an end

The fun long weekend came to an end and we had a late flight back to KC.  Mom had to travel to Providence for work so Dad and I headed home together!  They would not let me board early with Dad and since we wanted to make sure I could sit with him, he boarded early and mom waited with me and I boarded by myself like a big kid!  I found Dad right away to sit with him!  I guess I am just well traveled!!

Chicago Day 4: A great game

We had a great day at the game and I can't wait to go back again one day!  While I wore Cubs gear and like the Cubs, they will never compare to my Royals!!

Chicago Day 4: I got a ball!!

We went down toward the field during practice and the second we got there a ball flew straight for me!  It hit the seat next to me and bounced off, brushed my butt and then mom ran and grabbed us the ball!  We got a ball!!  How exciting!!

Chicago Day 4: Lake Shore Drive

We slept in our last morning and then took a walk to Lake Shore Drive and saw the lake.  It was chilly and super windy!  We learned that we would need to bring a jacket to the Cubs game....a jacket in July....holy moly!

Chicago Day 3: Sugar Factory

We had to check out the #1 Instagrammed restaurant in the world!!  We went for dessert and we see why it is so photographed....the desserts and drinks were fantastic!  Mom and I split a milk shake that was covered in chocolate and snickers bars and topped with more snickers bars, dipper waffles and lots of other goodies!  Super cool!

Chicago Day 3: Gino's East

We tried a new Chicago pizza place (for us anyway) for dinner.  Gino's East was super yummy and worth a return visit!  I really was not a fan of the graffiti on the walls, but loved the pizza!

Chicago Day 3: American Girl....again

It was just too close to not stop by the American Girl store every single time we walked past it!  This time I brought Gabrielle back to where she was born and took her for a day on the town!
