Last night swim

Because we just had to pack in more fun before we had to go to bed in order to wake up at 2:15am for our super early flight home, we swam one last time!  Gotta swim while on Spring Break!

We had an amazing trip we will never forget!  We love California!

Voo Doo Doughnuts

Mom and I ran into Voo Doo Doughnuts on our way out of Universal Studios (on the City Walk).  It was so adorable, there was a super long line and everyone was carrying thee big, awesome and adorably pink boxes around....we just had to try it.  We were so happy we did because they were amazing.  So amazing that mom researched opening a franchise in KC.  Turns out that are not franchising...bummer!

SO AMAZING!

Universal Studios Hollywood

We had a ton of fun at Universal Studios Hollywood!  We went on the cool Studio tour and saw where they have filmed all sorts of tv shows and movies - including where they currently film The Voice!  We rode lots of rides, saw some cool shows and explored all things Harry Potter!  Super fun day!

Late night LA

We went to a sports bar in Hollywood for dinner, but after mom and I split what turned out to be a very small (yet expensive- all the food was expensive) dinner, we went back to the hotel for a snack!

To our surprise, someone was singing in the hotel bar area and we had fun having a late night snack (homemade beef jerky and milk & cookies) and listening to him.  It was totally cool and totally LA!

Exploring LA

We had so much fun checking out how the rich and famous live in Beverly Hills!  We drive through Rodeo Drive and checked out some homes of the stars in Beverly Hills.  We saw a house on the market for $80million and tried to find the one on the market for $200 million!!

We also explored where OJ Simpson used to live and the condo where the murders occurred.  That was kinda interesting!

We stopped at Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach to see the sites and explore a bit.  It was a full afternoon and an even longer drive home!!  Not only did we get to explore California's beauty, we got to explore it's TRAFFIC....wow!
