My new phrases...

Some of my new things I say all the time now are:
"I love it" - referring to my Gorilla book, pancakes and all things fun and yummy!

"That's cool" - there are lots of cool things out there and I will let you know what I think is the coolest!

2 year doctor appointment!

Daddy took me to my 2 year doctor appointment this week. I was a really good girl and did not cry until I got my shot. Luckily I only had to get one shot - flu shot! Here are my most recent stats: 28.6 lbs (74th percentile) and 35" tall (80th percentile)! I am a tall girl for my age...can you believe it.

Here were my stats from my 1 year appointment:
24lbs and 3 oz (87th percentile), am 29" long (36th percentile) and have a head circumference of 18" (67th percentile).

I sure have grown a lot this year!

Story Time!

Nama and I started going to story time every Tuesday at Pottery barn Kids. We have so much fun together there. We listen to the lady read a story and then we do a song. Last week she sang the "Hokey Pokey". This week we sang "Wheels on the Bus". I have so much fun and sing along, although I stay really close to Nama.

When Nama told me that this weeks story time was over I said "No Nama, she did not sing Hokey Pokey". See, last week the lady ended story time with "Hokey Pokey". Nama thought I was so smart for remembering! We went up to the lady and ask her about it...she said we will all sing "Hokey Pokey" next week! Yeah!!

SPA!

Today was my first ever trip to the spa and I got my nails done! All pink and pretty - I even got 2 flowers and 2 diamonds! Mommy got her nails done too while I sat on daddy's lap and got mine done. I did such a good job and was very patient with it all, even sat in front of the dryer until my nails were all dry! I love getting my nails done and can see it being a weekly event...hahaha!!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had the best birthday EVER! Mommy, Daddy and I went to Wonderscope – a children’s museum and had so much fun! I got to roll balls around, play in a pretend hospital room, play with water, play in a Legoland, shopped in the grocery store, climb around cool stuff and so much more! After Wonderscope we went to one of my favorite restaurants…McDonalds for lunch! Mmm…I had chicken nuggets!

Then we went home for a nap. When I woke up we played in my playroom for awhile and then got ready for Chuck-e-Cheese! I wore my ballerina outfit with my birthday shirt all day and loved it! Name Vicki, Papa Dick, Nama, Papa, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Rob and Anna met mommy, daddy and I there! We had a great corner in the restaurant and 2 tables for us to sit on end even tables for us to put the food and LOTS of presents! There were a lot of other parties there, but our corner allowed for us to have our own little party undisturbed by all the craziness!

I played on the slide (my favorite), rode a horsey, played skeet ball and did lots of other fun games! My favorite though is when Chuck-E came out to wish all the birthday boys and girls happy birthday! You will not believe but he came right out the door next to our tables!!! It was so cool because I was the first birthday girl he saw and gave a high five to! It made me so happy and excited that I followed (stalked as Nama calls it) Chuck-E for awhile. He patted my head and gave me a hug and one more high five! He is so cool!

Everyone sang my happy birthday (I even sang it to myself) and we had a really yummy cookie cake! I got lots of fun presents too…dress up clothes, Princess Barbie dolls, PJ's, bathing suit, a dress, a Minnie Mouse golf set (thanks Uncle Chris), a book, Snow White DVD, iron and ironing board, a washing machine, My Little Pony, a baby doll, Play dough stuff, etc…..but my all time favorite of the night was the rain boots and umbrella! I wanted to carry that umbrella all over Chuck-E-Cheese and I DID wear the rain boots all night!

Another cute thing I said...

Today while mommy and I were rocking before my nap I was doing funny things to make her laugh! After I did all those funny things I looked right up to her and said "Kate drives mommy bonkers"! Mommy cracked up and she and laughed and laughed!

"That's what I was thinking about!"

I say this a lot now. If I was thinking about something and then it happens I get really excited, smile and say "that is what I was thinking about".
