Fun day!!

Today was MLK Day so both mom and I had the day off!!  I was lucky and got to stay the night with Nama last night as mom had a super early doctor appointment.  We played games, watched tv and had a great time hanging out!!

Mom came over this morning and we all hung out, went shopping and enjoyed a restaurant week lunch at Newport Grill!  It was really yummy!!

Here is s picture of me at the sweet shop at Prairie Fire eating a macaroon.  Mom and I had always wanted to try one.  While it was tasty, it was not worth the hefty price!!

After dinner at home, dad took Addi and I to the pool for night swimming!!  So fun!!

It was a fun day!!

Gingerbread man!!

Mom and I had fun decorating a gingerbread man that mom found on clearance for $0.59!!  

Since it's no longer Christmas we decorated a Valentine's Day man!!  He was broken when we opened him so we repaired him too!!!

Crafty day!!

Today we had fun making Valentine's Day crafts!  We made my trade Valentine's which are cute twirly straws that say "sip sip Horray it's Valentine's Day"!!

We also made my Valentine's Day box for my classroom!  It's a feathery flying unicorn!!  Such a fun crafty day!

Last night Nama, mom, dad and I all went to Sullivan's as our first KC Restaurant week event of 2015!  It was fabulous and we had a blast!

It is the end of 2nd quarter in the first grade and I am reading above the benchmark for this time in the year!  I am reading at the end of 3rd quarter benchmark!  I love to read!!
