India: day 3
Today was another very long work day...and it's Saturday!! I was up early and in showrooms and the office until dinner.
I did a little shopping to pick up some authentic Indian gifts and then headed back to the hotel to clean up, eat dinner and then head to the airport for a 1:10am flight to Hobg Kong!!! I am writing this from the plane now and should land at 9:30 am Hong Kong time. I hope to get some sleep!!
Everywhere in India you see bowls of these floating flowers...I need to research this!
While I did not see any "official" sites in India, I sure got an amazing flavor...from the city of Dehli to the small factory towns...wow!!

Service!!!
India is all about service! It is amazing what they do...especially when you stay at amazing hotels like I have. Here are some of the drivers waiting for us as we landed last night! Then we were escorted to amazing giant BMWs...here is my friend Jeanne in the car with me!!

Dot ceremony
Yesterday we flew into Japur and had a very hot, very long day visiting showrooms and factories!!!
At one factory they had s blessing ceremony where we experienced the dot ceremony and received a turban which signifies royalty!!! It was pretty cool!

A view from my car...
We have spent a lot of time driving between showrooms and factories. There are not really traffic laws in India, so the drives can be crazy! You see sacred cows and wild pigs roaming the roads, lots of ibter sting sites and people!! India is a busy place!!

Today's lunch...
Authentic Indian food! I had tomato soup, amazing rice, veggies, curried cottage cheese,lentil poppers, roti bread and some other interesting things! All surprisingly good!
