Serendipity

Our first stop on dads birthday was to Serendipity!  We had wanted to try their frozen hot chocolate (it's famous) and did not want to wait in a super long wait, so got their right when it opened!

We had a lunch appetizer (yummy chicken nachos) and the amazing frozen hot chocolate!  Yep, totally worth it!  And the place is super cute!!

Movie filming...

There were tons of movie trailers lining outside our hotel.  We learned they were filming an unnamed Rock and roll movie that will air on HBO.  We even saw the food services area...just no stars.

Happy 40th birthday daddy!!

We celebrated dads birthday in NYC and had such a fun day!  As usual, we started the birthday day with presents!!

Mom and I got dad the following:

"Some say 40 sucks" = lollipops!

"Others say 40 blows" = bubblegum

"We hope 40 brings you luck"= lotto tickets

"And magic all year long" = Trip to Disney World!!

He loved the presents and the great day!!
