Talent on Parade!!

Today was my very first dance competition and I loved it!  It was called Talent on Parade (TOP).  We performed our jazz dance "Girls Just Want to have Fun" and we really all did a great job!

It was super cool because Anna also competed at the same competition and they did a fabulous job too!  I decided I really love dance and even the competitions!!

Dress Rehearsal

Last night I had dress rehearsal for the weekends TOP dance competition.  I had to be in full costume, hair (slicked back with no bumps or wispy's- boy did we need to use a lot of gel and hair spray) and makeup (and lots of it with 5 pages of instructions with pictures on how to do it)! Let's just say this took us awhile to get ready!!

Making money!!

We had such a fun Saturday morning at the Utting's garage sale!  We had a lemonade stand and sold lemonade, cookies and brownies and made $66!!!!  Can you believe that?  One man even gave us $20!  After we split it and topped Blake $1 each, we took home $32!!  Money for Mexico!  Awesome morning!!

I love this time of year....time to wear shorts to school!!!!
