Bored and waiting...

This is what you do when you are bored waiting for dad at H&R Block!!  He got stuck in a meeting and all we wanted to do was shop at holiday mart!!!

Surprise!!!

It is holiday Mart weekend and we love going!  Thursday morning when we were getting ready for the day I was telling mom what we do at the end of the school day (reading workshop) and that we usually catchup on work and then have open reading time.  I then told her "if you want to take me out of school early (for holiday mart), I'm available".

And guess what???  25 minutes before school was out the office called into our class and said "Kate Horton is to come to the office for early dismissal."  Holy moly!!!  Mom surprised me and pulled me out of school early (she has never done that) and drove me to meet dad at Holiday Mart!

What an awesome surprise!!
