Plaza III

After spending the afternoon watching the royals win a big playoff game, we headed to a fabulous family dinner at the Plaza III!  Yum!!!  We love fancy dinners!!

Darby's birthday party

Darby had a movie star party where we dressed like movie stars, had pizza and even went on a limo ride!!!  Totally awesome!  When in the limo, we were able to eat all the candy we wanted and drink all the soda we wanted!!!  Awesome!!!

Great October Friday!!!

The weather was beautiful, no school, working with mom on a market tour, lunch at Ra with Nama, Aunt Jenny and the Stilley girls, Royals first game of the ALCS!!!

Swim lessons

I have been taking swim lessons at Midwest Aquatics and boy have my strikes improved!!  I am still trying to get a hang of my wiff kick...it is so tricky!

13th anniversary!!!

Mom and dad just celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary and celebrated with a super special overnight trip the The Elms spa and resort!!!  

They took off work on Friday and started the day with a yummy breakfast at Le Peep, then headed to Excelsior Springs for a full day at the spa!!

They spent a few hours in the grotto which was an awesome relaxing spa lounge with hot tub, dry and steam saunas, body scrubs, steam showers and super comfy lounge chairs to nap on!!  Then they moved on to couples massages, facials, hydrosonic baths, manicures and pedicures!  It was the most relaxation and pampering they have ever had in one day and when it was done they were relaxed, starving and super tired!!!  A day lounging sure is exhausting!!

Then they went to the nice hotel dinner and then crashed in the pretty hotel room for a good, long sleep!!

The package they had at the hotel also gave them both bath robes, a bottle of wine, wine glasses and bottle opener to take home!!! Such a great time!!!!

2nd grade musical : Suessical!!!

This week was my musical!  It was called Suessical and was all about Dr. Suess.  I even had a speaking part!  I was kinda nervous before, but I did a great job and had lots of fun!  I was singing and dancing so great!!  So much fun!!
