We headed down to the lake a few weeks ago for some relaxation and to hang out with Nama and Papa. It was a chilly weekend, but we still managed to get out on the boat, play games and even watch the Chiefs on Monday night football. Mom took off Monday, but Dad, Papa and I worked and schooled. We love the lake!

We had another small swim meet in Gladstone. This one felt more similar to the normal meets, just with less teams and we had to wear masks and social distance! It felt good to race again!

Mt school had a virtual bingo night and mom and I had lots of fun playing it. I even won a gift card to a frozen yogurt place! I fun activity for a pandemic Friday night!

Mom and I get to have lunch together. We go out to eat rarely during weekday lunch, but it sure is fun when we do. Here is us eating sushi at Ra! YUM!

Another first....first day of going in the building for 7th grade. We are doing a hybrid model and they have divided the kids up by last name. A-L go 2 days and then M-Z go 2 days and we alternate all month long. They reevaluate learning mode each month. Hoping to get back to normal school soon! I will say that I do enjoy getting to sleep in and have lunch with mom and dad on virtual school days!

We went to Johnson Farm for mums and pumpkins and got our annual pumpkin patch photo! We then went home and decorated our front step and are ready for fall!
