Ice Cream Party!!

This is the story of my 4th birthday party! This may be one of the longest blog postings I have ever done because it was such a fun day and we took such great pictures that really tell the story of the fun!

Anna was the first guest to arrive at the party...she was ready to Par-Tay!

I was super excited to see my party decorations and have the party start!
Cousins...so happy to see each other!

I took my traditional birthday picture...

Anna and I put on our party hats mom made...

Them we played and played...

Nama came dressed in authentic Ben & Jerry's apparel...direct from Vermont!

It was such a beautiful day (45 degrees) that we could take a stroll outdoors for "fresh air"...I was even in a TANK TOP!

Woohoo! Sydney and Ella arrived!

We all posed and were ready for the fun to start...

There was lots of dancing and jumping...

The activities began...first one was "guess the flavor". Everyone got a small scoop of ice cream to taste. Mommy read off the possible flavor answers and we guessed. pretty cool game because we got to try 3 flavors! Even the adults got to play!

The party room was really fun and colorful! It was a great place for a party and we had it all to ourselves!

It is a thumbs up kind of day!

All smiles today!

Anna loves sprinkles! She loves them so much that she was eating them off of the centerpieces and party hats!! She even got a plate of them!

Sydney has a sweet tooth and loved to try the different flavors!

Our hostess brought out the next fun activity...dip and decorate your own sugar cones!

I rolled mine in chocolate sprinkles!

Anna likes colorful ones...of course!

Ella went chocolate and it looks like she wanted a nibble of the tray!

Sydney also went chocolate...she loves chocolate (even had a chocolate party for her own birthday)!

Our cones are drying...ready for yummy ice cream!

It was so much fun that the adults decided to join in on the fun! Papa Dick was the first to volunteer!

Then mommy!

Then Papa...

Almost everyone made a cone!

I went barefoot for awhile until the adult realized it!

We all got to pick out our own flavor for our cones!

After we decided we got more fresh air...

Then went on a tour of the store and learned how waffle cones are made...

We even got to try the one we made!

Then we got to check out the freezer...Brrrrr!

It was AWESOME so we DANCED!

and JUMPED!

Then we drew on the chalk board like teachers!

SO MUCH FUN!

We did some cheers!

Then, Aunt Jenny had a great idea....pyramids! She was on bottom!

YIKES...look at her shirt!

The ice cream arrived...all the flavors we picked out! YUMMY!

Everyone sang "hally birthday" to me...

Then we all ate our yummy ice cream! Anna got purple for Barney!

I got lemon sherbet!! LOVED it!

This was the quietest moment of the party...

Sydney loves her chocolate! Thumbs up!

What fun we had!

Buddies!

Nama and Papa!

Needless to say, Ella enjoyed it. She looks like her mommy!!!

Thanks for making my party so sweet!

When Ashley woke up from her nap she and Uncle Rob joined us!

London Bridge is Falling Down...

Airplane!

And then it was time to go to the next party location....

Love,

Kate
