THE Excuse

"Because I'm tired" is something you will hear me say often now. Not just when I am tired, but I will say it anytime I need to excuse my actions. For example Mommy or Daddy will say "why did you hit Kate?" and I will say "because I'm tired"
- THEM: "Why did you act mean Kate?" ME: "Because I'm tired"
- THEM: "Why are you crying Kate?" ME: "Because I'm tired"
- THEM: "Why have you not cleaned up your mess Kate?" ME: "Because I'm tired"

It really worked for awhile...they are starting to come on to me!

Beauty and the Beast

"Beauty and the Beast" just got re-released this past Tuesday and I got it the 1st day it was out! I have watched it a couple times and I LOVE IT! I now like to act like Belle. I asked mommy if I had a yellow dress and was sad to hear I do not. We will have to go shopping!!

Since I am Belle everyone else needs to be someone too. Aunt Jenny is Mrs. Potts, Anna is Chip, Mommy is the Beast and Daddy also sometimes the Prince.

Here is the yellow dress I want SO badly!

I told mommy today she is the prince/Beast because she has long hair like the Prince and because she wears it in a ponytail just like the Prince!!

"Actually"

"Actually" is a pretty new word for me. I like to use new words a lot. I will say things like "actually, I have to go potty" and then a few minutes later say something like "actually, I love you mommy".

PHEW!

Mommy was just relieved to learn that I really do not know what boyfriend means. I am now referring to Manny as "my girl friend". I just think boyfriend and girlfriend means they are your friends! See mom, I am not getting too big too fast!

"Boyfriend"

Mommy bought me a very cool Princess Belle yellow cell phone yesterday. I love to talk on it and call people. I was talking on it tonight and said "hi Manny, how are you". When I got off the phone mommy asked me who I was talking to and I said "Manny, my boyfriend". Mommy was so surprised I said that and she kept asking where I heard the word "boy friend"....I did not tell her. She thinks I am getting too big too fast!

Chiefs!

Pops (Papa Fimmen) was able to hook Daddy up with some awesome Chiefs tickets on Sunday! Daddy got a pre-game sideline pass and was able to walk around Arrowhead while the Chiefs were warming up for thir game against the SF 49ers. When the game started Daddy went up to the stands and watched the game from the 40 yard line 19 rows up from the field. Daddy went with Pops, Papa Dick, Uncle Rob Rob, and Uncle Rob Rob's brother and dad. They had a great time and the Chiefs even won! 31-10! The sun even came out when the game started as evidence by Daddy's red face when he got home.

"Is this on sale?"

Mommy and I were playing store in my playroom. We shop my playroom and then use the cash register to pay and check out! It is so much fun! I made mommy laugh today when we were playing when I asked her "is this on ale?". When mommy said said "no, it is not"....I said, "well, then I don't want it" and then I found something else that was on sale! My mommy and I are both DEAL shoppers!
