Spring Performance

Last night I had my Spring Musical at school!  I was really excited all day for it and could not wait to perform for everyone!  I kept my songs a secret from mom and dad and told them they had to wait for the performance!

Nama, Papa, Aunt Jenny, Anna, mom and dad were all in the audience cheering me on!  Papa surprised me...he was on a business trip and got home just in time to watch me!  We sang a bunch of songs.  Mom and Dad said they could even hear my voice!  I did a really good job singing and doing all the sign language!

After the performance, Nama, Papa, mom, dad and I went to Will Jenny's for a yummy late dinner!

Worlds of Fun!!!

Today was SO AWESOME!  It was a beautiful day, so mommy, daddy and I went to Worlds of Fun!  This was opening weekend and our season passes were burning in our pockets...FREE entertainment!  Thanks for everyone who got us the season passes for Christmas...such a great gift!

We did lots of fun stuff!  The log ride is still my all-time favorite, although the fun kids stuff at Camp Snoopy is pretty cool too!  Daddy was able to ride the big roller coasters, which he thought was awesome!  t was really nice because it was not too busy, so the lines were short.

Mom and I thought that the top-your-own snow cone machines were the COOLEST things ever!  we put cherry, grape and tigers blood all on our snow cone!    We are So excited that the weather is getting warm enough for snow cones!

Taylor's Princess Birthday party!

My friend Taylor (from school) had her 5th birthday party yesterday and it was a princess party!  We each got to dress up in our favorite princess costume and play, play, play!  The party was at her house and it was one of the best parties I have EVER been at!

First, ALL my friends from class were there (Addison, Taylor, Hadley, Addi and Landry)!!!!  Second, Princess Rapunzel came to visit and surprise us all....it was AMAZING!  We played freeze dance, popped bubbles with her, went on a treasure hunt and even got our faces painted by Rapunzel!  It was so cool!  After all the party fun and cake, we even got to see Taylor's bedroom and play a bit downstairs!

I did not want it to end!

p.s. mommy stayed with me at this party (lots of mom's do), but when she asked me if I wanted her to stay I told her she did not have to.  I think we may give it a try next time!

Cheer pictures!!

We had a big day yesterday.  I had Cheer pictures, gymnastics and then my friend Taylor's birthday party!

Here I am bright and early yesterday in line to get my cheer team and individual pictures!  We are very thankful that my cheer uniform still fits - 2 years out of this one!!

Kindergarten Roundup!

I had kindergarten roundup on Friday! Mommy and I went to my school at 9am.  She got to go to the library with the adults while I got to go with the kids to a real kindergarten classroom with the teachers!

As they were lining us up to go downstairs mommy asked if I wanted her to wait with me.  I said "If you want to.  You don't have to."  Mommy can't believe what a big girl I am.  She left me there to line up with the teachers and she headed to the library to hear all about the fees and forms she has to fill out.

I went downstairs where we played in a classroom.  We did blocks, colored and did some other fun things.  I was so excited that my best friend from preschool, Addison, will be going to my school.  She is doing half day and I am doing full day, but we will still be at school together some of the day!  Maybe she will be in my class in the 1st grade!

I can't believe I am all ready for kindergarten!!!

Mommy's Birthday!

It was such a beautiful day on mommy's birthday that we played at the Farm!  The farm just opened so we had fun visiting all the animals for the first time of the year!  We saw it all and had lot of fun!

After the Farm we met Nama, Papa, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Rob, Anna and Ashley out for pizza to once again celebrate mommy's birthday!  I started to not feel well at dinner, so we left a bit early to go home and rest.  Turned out I had a stomach bug that hit me hard for about 4 days!

The other night I fell asleep at 5pm at Nama's house (I was not feeling good). Mommy picked me up and I woke up grouchy for a few minutes, but fell back asleep in the car.  She carried me inside and I woke up for a few minutes, but fell right back asleep a few minutes later.  Then she carried me to bed and I woke up for a few more minutes, but quickly fell right back to sleep.  It turned out I did not wake up until 8:45 the next morning!  I slept OVER 15 hours!!!!  It was the longest I have ever slept!  I needed it!  I feel better now, phew!

Mommy's Birthday Extravaganza!!!

Mommy had such a great birthday week!  She took off work Thursday and Friday and we got to hang out and celebrate!  On Thursday she, Nama, Aunt Jenny, Anna, Ashley and I all got together and went to Nell Hill's and to lunch!  We had so much fun shopping and playing all day!

On Friday we had even more fun in store and did our very first First Friday's down at the West Bottoms downtown and got to shop and have fun shopping vintage markets!  It was so cool, but required lots of walking and I got tired!  After we shopped a bit on the Plaza and then met Daddy and Papa at the Plaza III for a yummy dinner!!!

Happy birthday week mommy!  I wish every day was your birthday so that you can take off of work to play!
