First basketball game of the season!!

Last Friday we went to our first KU basketball of the season.  We had dinner at Free State Brewery and then went to Allen Fieldhouse to cheer on the Jayhawks as they ran onto the court for practice and then had a blast watch KU WIN!!  Go KU!!

LOL Dolls

The Stilley cousins are totally in love with LOL Dolls and after watching them open some, they look fun (well to open - not sure what to do with them after that).  I had some gift cards burning in my wallet and while mom and I were shopping in Target we ran into Addison Warn who just bought one (and was hiding it behind my back so I did not see - she must have been embarrassed) and then Aunt Jenny met us at Target and she was SO excited about them that I just had to get a few!!

Aunt Jenny showed me the trick to see if they were super rare and I get all excited dreaming that I got the super-duper rare one!  Aunt Jenny even came to our car to watch me open them!  One was rare and one was kinda special - but they were just as exciting to open as I had hoped! 

After this I have officially added them to my Christmas list!   I just have to figure out what to do with them after I unwrap them!!!

Sugar Cookie Central - Part 1

I decided that I really wanted to learn how to make sugar cookies like they do at bakeries!  I found a recipe for thick sugar cookies and some fun icing and got to making!  Mom taught me how to do it, but I made them mostly!  It was so much fun, although it took a very long time!  I made the cookies Saturday and then iced them Sunday....

Mathletics

I had my Mathletics competition this week and while my team tried really hard, we did not do that great!  No ribbon this competition....there is always next time!!

Happy Halloween

We had an awesome Halloween night with our annual party and then trick of treating all night long!  It was a chilly night, but that did not stop us from trick or treating for over 1 hour and 30 minutes!  I got more candy than I ever have before and we loved every minute of it!  Happy Halloween!
