Quarantined Life: Another round of baking

This was probably the easiest, and according to mom, the tastiest baked good we have made so far!  Yummy rice krispie treats....so much better than the pre-made packaged ones!!  Hopefully mom does not eat them all before dinner!

Quarantined Life: Virtual Learning

Today was my first day of virtual learning.  I was setup and ready to go today.  After mom and I researched the process last night we decided that I could sleep in (a benefit of all this crazy stuff), so I woke up around 9:30 to start my day.  While mom was on a conference call I got ready, made my bed and checked my school tasks for the day.  By 9am on Monday I get all my assignment for the week.  By lunch I had finished my weeks worth of work for all my odd hour classes.  It was pretty easy and nice to work at my own pace.  In order to ensure I have things to do the rest of the week, I held off looking at my even hours class work - I will save that for tomorrow.  This virtual learning is pretty cool! and I love my office set up!

Quarantined Life: Driveway Art

Mom and I got into the chalk art mood and made some art.  Mom started by wanting to make a cool barbell with a "Stay Strong" label - you would then lay under it for photos.  Well, her barbell was not good -----so, she added some flowers and we will just call it "art".

Quarantined Life: Just Dance

Dad ordered me the Just Dance video game for out Xbox.  We spent the night trying it out....and it's going back.  We needed a video camera accessory in order for it to be cool.  Boo!  It was a few hours of entertainment though!!

Quarantined Life: Social Distancing Bike Rides & Walks

We are having daily walks/bike rides with the Utting's while ensure we are staying 6' apart.  Its super easy to do while biking and the parents are doing it with one family on the sidewalk and the other on the street.  It's so nice to get exercise, fresh air and to keep up with friend!  This weekend I clocked in over 18 miles on the bike with mom and dad walking over 10 miles!

On Saturday after our ride/walk we celebrated with Sonic happy hour with the Uttings- each of us in our own cars, but parked next to each other.

Yay us!

Quarantined Life: A Card a Day

Mom and I are having fun spreading love by sending one greeting card a day to our friends and family as part of our bucket list.  It gives us some purpose and something to ensure we do every day.
