Tomorrow I'm officially a first grader!!

This afternoon mom, Nama and I went to get me new school shoes and then met Papa for a celebration dinner at Houlihans!  It was so much fun!

We got home early, took a bath, tried on my first day of school outfit I picked up at Justice, packed my lunch and then relaxed.

Mrs. Miller gave me a special letter that I was able to open and read at bedtime.  It was so cool...and included some confetti to wish me a good first day of school!  I sprinkled it under my pillow, mom read me a few chapters of my book and I drifted off to sleep...all by 8:20 (10 minutes before my normal bedtime as every extra minute of sleep will help on my big day tomorrow)!

All ready for tomorrow!!

Fun with friends!

After "meet the teacher night" at school, mom, Addison, Miss Jennifer and I all went to get our nails done!  I got purple leopard on my toes and pink and white stripes on my fingers!  They turned out awesome!

Then we went out to dinner at Fortune Walk...so yummy, then to Tad's for shaved ice!  It was an awesome night!

Addi and I are disappointed we aren't in the same class together, but are super excited we will be driving to school together and will have Girl Scouts, dance and soccer together!!!!

P.S.  in case you are wondering where dad was...he is in Florida on a business trip!!

Meet the Teacher night!!

Today was Meet the Teacher night at school!  Mom, Addison, Miss Jennifer and I all went to school together for the event! I found out I am in Mrs. Miller's class!  She seems really nice...she gave me lots of hugs!  I also like her classroom!  Instead of having circle tables (like we did in kindergarten) we have desks that are grouped together to form bigger tables!

I have 13 girls and 10 boys in my class and I know lots of people!!

Kennedy and Riley from kindergarten, halee from kindergarten and the neighborhood, Isabel from Girl Scouts, autumn from girls scouts and soccer and skyler from the neighborhood!!  

I am really excited for the school year!

Frozen Performance!!

Last night was the BIG Frozen performance!  I was a little nervous and told mom and dad that I was just ready for it to be over!  I had a big audience: Nama Vicki, Papa Dick, Papa, Aunt Jenny, Anna, Ashley, mom and dad!!  Once the performance started I saw them all RIGHT AWAY as they were in the 2nd row....a little too close!!  :)

I got a bit nervous seeing them and acted a little goofy on stage, but once I got more comfortable I sang and danced away!  It was pretty cool!

After we all took pictures and then all went out to dinner at Johnny Brusco's and then for dessert at Tad's Shaved ice!  It was a really awesome night!  I am excited to try another theater camp!
