"Mama" and "Dada"

My mom and dad are so happy....I can say "mama" and "dada"!!! I said mama first a couple of weeks ago and said dada for the first time the other day!!! Everyone is so proud of me....now I just have to learn how to say Murphy!!

Aunt Jenny's Wedding Shower!!

Today was Aunt Jenny's bridal shower at my house! It was so much fun! I got to wear a little princess dress and Aunt Jenny called me Glinda the Good Witch because I looked like the pretty witch from Wizard of Oz!! A lot of Aunt Jenny's friends came over and we played games and they ate good food! Aunt Jenny got so many fun presents!! I got Aunt Jenny a pair of panties that said "sexy little bride" on them and something called a garter belt that she can wear on her wedding day!!! She really seemed to like what I got her! I even got a present...Miss Nancy (cousin Tom's Grandma) brought me a fun book I can take in the bath with me! That was so nice of her!

I had so much fun playing with everyone and letting everyone hold me! I just love a party! I got really energized and decide that I really did not need much of a nap! I can't wait for Aunt Jenny's next shower....and then her wedding, now that will be a BIG party!!!

They stole a picture of my teeth!

Well, I am very private about my teeth because my mouth is still sore as I have lots more teeth to grow!! Mom and Dad have been trying to sneak there fingers in my mouth to feel them for weeks now and today mom got a picture of them. I have not been in the best of moods today as another tooth is hurting and mom decided she needed a picture to show everyone. Well, I started out happy in my bouncer and slowly but surely mom got me mad by putting her finger in my mouth and trying to get me to smile. The only time you can really see them good is when I whine...take a look at the pictures and look for my bottom 2 middle teeth (you can tell she got me mad)!!!

Progression: Happy baby to not so happy baby!!

Mmmm...teething biscuits!

I just love teething biscuits, but I think I have been grounded from them. See, the last time Mom and Dad gave me one it tasted so wonderful that every time it dropped I had to scream uncontrollably so Mom and Dad would understand it fell and that they needed to rush over immediately to pick it up and give it to me. They get so slimy and gooey...I just love them. I think they might make Mom gag though! I got so mad at Mom because as soon as it got all good and gooey and started to break apart she decided to take it away from me and she THREW it in the trash!! I was so mad that I screamed like crazy and decided that I should act up for about 30 minutes (until my sobs put me to sleep). I think they got the point that what Mom did made me mad, but I think I also heard them say that was the last time I would be eating teething biscuits. Mom and Dad can be mean!

Consignment

My mom and her friend Lori went to this big shopping event at a convention center that they said was "consignment". I am not sure what that word means, other than it means cool stuff!! Mom got such good deals are really fun toys...a bouncy thing that hangs from a doorway, a baby-sized kitchen set, a fun musical piano, maraca's and some fun other toys. Mom also found some cute little clothes....a chiefs cheerleader outfit that I can't wait to wear for this weeks game, some pj's and a few cute outfits!\



I love consignment, cause it means I get lots of fun stuff!!!

My Teacher!

My grandma is now also my teacher!!! Grandma Fimmen started to watch me while mom and dad are at work! I have had so much fun having everyone watch me and now I am super excited to be with Grandma until February (hopefully she does not get sick of me)!!!



Mom and Dad drop me off at grandma's house every morning. Grandma, Peanut and I play all day long! grandma bought some fun toys that stay at her house that I just love! Today I bounced around in a bouncy thing and just loved it! It can entertain me forever! I love it when Grandma is on the computer because she lets me help type.



Grandma says I have been a really good napper and an all-around good girl! I think she thinks I am wild because I love to be bounced around!! I am a little crazy and I am not afraid of anything!!



I have my own crib and highchair at Grandma's - it is just like I live there during the day! i really can't think of anything her house is missing. i love me Grandma!

Grandparents Day!

Boy oh boy do I feel awful!! I forgot to wish my grandma's and grandpa's there 1st Happy Grandparents Day! Hallmark must be scaling back on their advertising budget, as I did not see a commercial to remind me!! the official day was yesterday, but I say we celebrate today!!! Happy Grandparents Day Grandma's and Grandpa's AND Great Grandma's and Great Grandpa's!!! I love you!

My week!!

I finally found some time to be able to sit and blog some. I have been one busy girl!! I am trying to remember where I left off...oh yeah, I remember. Last Sunday mom, dad and I met Aunt Jenny and Uncle Rob out for chicken at Strouds. Dad seemed to love the place. I thought it was really cool because I got to sit in a highchair at a restaurant for the first time. I felt so big and everyone could see me and come over and tell me how cute I am (that was my favorite part, well that and spending time with Aunt Jenny and Uncle Rob)! Here I am in my first restaurant highchair:

Monday was Labor Day and we spent the day playing together...it was a really fun day! I think I already told you guys, but I got my first tooth that day! I also ate my first veggies...carrots. At first I thought they were yucky. Mom and Dad stopped feeding me and put them away. A few hours later though I was ready to try them again and boy were they tasty! Not as good as Popsicles though!

I went over to Miss Lori and Mr. Aaron's house Tuesday and Wednesday and got to play with my best friend Sydney. Miss Lori is so funny and tried to videotape us all the time. Sydney and I talked and decided to play a trick on her...we would be really cute and funny and then when she would get the camera out we would stop what we were doing and just stare at her!! It drive her crazy, but boy did Sydney and I have a chuckle!!

On Wednesday Daddy had to take me back to the doctor to get my ears checked to make sure my ear infection had cleared up and it did!! Yippee!! The only bad part was that I had to get my 6 month shots! They hurt really bad and I did not feel my best the rest of that day and Thursday.

Grandma Vicki came all the way up from Pittsburg again to watch me Thursday and today. It was so nice of her and I had so much fun with her!! We played and she even gave me a foot massage...it put me right to sleep it was so good! Grandpa Dick came over a bunch too this week to give me kisses and hold me. It is so fun when he comes over because he will hold me and walk all over the house for hours!! I am one lucky kid!

I do this new trick that makes everyone clap for me... I move from my typical sitting position to a crawling position. I do not even think of crawling, but I think it is so funny how everyone gets so excited. They are suckers for a new trick! Take a look of me on this video...

I have some more BIG news....I got another tooth today! It is my bottom middle one on the left. Two teeth in one week is really a big thing I think. They hurt pretty bad so mom and dad give me ibuprofen when I get cranky. I can't help grinding my gums to try to make them feel better! The really funny thing is that I do not let anyone see these teeth...and I know they are just dying to take a look and take a picture! I play such funny games!

I am really excited because tomorrow we get to pick Grandma Fimmen up from the airport!! I have not seen her since I was just a little baby. Now I am such a big girl...I hope she will still recognize me!! She is coming to stay for a long time to watch and play with me! I can't wait!!

Well, it is way past my bedtime and I am super tired. I am going to rest for awhile, but will make sure I wake up about 3am to have mom and/or dad come in my room and hold me for the rest of the night...suckers!! I sure have them trained!

Mmmm...Carrots!

I ate my first vegetables the other day...carrots. I have to admit, I was not a fan at first. Mom and Dad had to try again and then I loved them! They have learned that they need to feed me my cereal and veggies when I am hungry and before I have my bottle! I thought it was so much fun to spit out a little of the carrots with each bite to try to turn my face and bib orange...really fun!

I am excited because tomorrow I think I get to try sweet potatoes!! Yummy!!

My First Tooth!!!

You heard it right...I finally cut my first tooth yesterday! It is the bottom left one! Mom, Dad, Murphy and I were all so excited!! I was acting a little fussy to let mom and dad know it was coming, but they really did not catch on (they thought it was my earache...silly guys)! The funny thing is that I really do not let anyone see the tooth! I put my tongue in the way whenever someone tries to look and yell at them to stop! You can feel it though...yesterday it felt like a little razor blade, but today the entire top has popped up so it isn't as sharp! Wonder when the bottom right one will pop out? Soon, I bet.
