Northern Lights- part 1

Our last chance for a Nationals bid is this tournament.  We all made the trip to Omaha and we’re ready to play.    We had lots of fun playing volleyball, swimming in the pool, going out to team dinners and hanging out as a team.

We had an amazing tournament!  We knew that if we ended up playing Mavs 816 in the finals that we would get a Nationals bid if we came in first or second.  Otherwise, we had to finish in first.  We were thrilled when we won our semi finals game and knew we were going into finals.  We were even more thrilled when we learned we’d be playing Mavs 816!

The finals match was great…we won the first significantly, they just barely won the second….but then we couldn’t hold on in the 3rd.  We came in second place in the National qualifier but punched our ticket to Nationals in Las Vegas!!!! We were so excited!!
