I went to Deanna Rose Farmstead yesterday and boy was it fun!! First mom and I brought lunch and sat in the park to eat, then we got to go and see all the animals!! Dad met us soon after and we got to play with him too! I got to meet bunnies, bobcats, pigs, horses, birds, turkeys, cows, goats and all sorts of other creatures! It was really neat and I could tell mom and dad thought it was really fun too! The weather was just perfect too...only about 80 degrees! Mom got to feed me my bottle on a really comfy rocker outside under a shade tree! I can't wait to go back! I loved watching the animals and all the other kids too....wen I get big there is going to be so much fun stuff for me to do there...I can't hardly wait!! But, boy, does that fresh air make me sleepy!

My Toes!!

I finally figured out that I have toes! They are really fun to play with! I can hold them, move them back and forth and wiggle them around...I love it! I am still trying to get them in my mouth - that is the tricky part! I must figure that out though because I put EVERYTHING in my mouth! Maybe they will help with my teething pains!

Now that I like to have mom and dad sit me up in my crib I just love my Ocean Wonders toy! The sound and the colors of it are so much fun!

"Momma and Dadda"

Well, I can't talk yet, but boy does it make me smile to hear mom sound so silly when she tries to get me to say "momma" and "dadda". One day I will surprise them both and talk...wonder what I will say first? Maybe "Murphy"!!

"Bad Cough"

I have a new game I love to play - I call it "bad cough" and it is so much fun! I do a pretend cough and then mom or dad says "bad cough", I cough again and mom or dad says "bad cough" and we do it over and over again!! The game can go on forever and it is just great! Here is a video with a little example of the game...when you come over we can play!

It was very HOT this week!! In fact, I got to experience my first 100 degree day - let's hope there are not many more of those this year! Mom and Dad barely let me leave the house it was so hot! They said it is not good for a baby my size to get in and out of a hot car all day. I think they are right with this one. I did not like it at all!!

Mom and I went shopping today and we had a lot of fun. She did not buy me anything though, but I managed to enjoy myself!

This week we are watching my Aunt Jenny's dog Peanut. I think he is my cousin (kinda like Tom is my cousin). We go over to Peanuts house a lot during the day and play with him and take him outside to go potty. He really likes me! He barks and gives me lots of kisses when he see's me! I like him a lot too. I like to pet him and tickle him with my toes. He is funny and likes to play a lot! Mom keeps throwing him his toy and if she does not throw it right away he barks at her like crazy! He is also a really good jumper - he can jump as high as my mom hair!! can you believe that! My puppy Murphy gets a little bit jealous that I get to play with Peanut and she doesn't. I come home and give Murphy lots of kisses though and tell her she is my best friend!

I got a new piano that I love to play. I told Daddy that I want to take piano lessons and get a big piano when I am bigger. He said I will have to try my lessons on a keyboard first! I don't think that real piano players play on a keyboard though!

Famous...well, maybe!

Mom and I went to a ladies event (Haute Market) with our neighbor Gretchen and her baby Skylar. Skylar and I were the only babies there...we were so lucky! We got a taste of what it will be like to shop for clothes and jewelry when we are bigger. It was really fun - there was even a band, lots of free food and alcohol!! Talk about a party! Well, a photographer was there and asked to take our picture!! We might be in a magazine if we are lucky (then we would be famous)! I do think we are the cutest picture he took!! Hi there!

Well, we weren't too busy this week. It was pretty rainy the beginning of the week so we didn't get out much. We did take Aunt Jenny to the airport because she is visiting Grandma and Grandpa...wish i could have gone with her (after all, it is free for me to fly until I am 2) - she could have put me on her lap. I would have missed Mom, Dad and Murphy too much though!

We lost power for about 5 hours Tuesday night because of a very bad storm. I did not hear a thing though and slept through it all!!

We met my best friend and her mom out for lunch and then a little shopping yesterday! It is always fun to see Sydney! I was tired though because I did not sleep at all the night before because my teeth are bothering me so badly. I know I will cut a tooth one of these days! I don't know if I can manage many more sleepless nights (I think my mom feels the same way)!

Today mom and I ran errands and got some things in order for me to go to daycare in a few weeks. I will sure miss my Mommy and Murphy during the day!! I will be okay though and meet lots of friends!
