"I am right..."

My new thing is to ensure everyone knows that "I am right and you are wrong". No one is sure where I picked this up, but I did. Sometimes, even when I know I am wrong, I will say I am right. For examples...Nama and I keep disagreeing about the names of the dog and cat on Strawberry Shortcake. I say that the cat is Pupcake and the dog is Custard and Nama says the dog is Pupcake and the cat is Custard. I am sure I am right. I am so sure that even when I hear on the show that Nama may be right I will not back down. I guess I am a strong willed girl.....more to come I am sure!

Larry

Last night mommy was reading me a book the Larson's got me called "Larry got Lost in Los Angeles". It is a cute book about a dog and his family and the dog "Larry" gets lost. In the middle of the book I started laughing like crazy and said to mommy "Do you know that Nama's Dad's name is Larry?". I thought it was so funny that Nama's Dad and Larry the dog had the same name. Mommy thought it was funny I remembered her grandpa's name!

Texas!!!

We got home from our wonderful Texas trip yesterday! It was SO much fun! All the cousins got to play, play, play! We even stayed in a hotel with an indoor pool! I had a great time. This is what we did:

Thursday: Drive, drive, drive! We stopped and ate lunch at Steak & Shake...they did not do a very good job, but boy do they have good shakes! we got in pretty late Thursday night, but not too late to run back and forth from our room to Nama and Papa's! After the first night we got adjoining rooms....super cool!

Friday: we got up super early so we could be at The Fimmen's house early to play, play, play!

Tom convinced me (after a really good negotiating job) to be a super hero. He said it would make him VERY happy and that he would dress up as a girl afterwards!

Later that day we all got a cute naked kid picture and then played some more!

On Saturday morning everyone came over for swimming at the pool AND jumping on the bed!!

We baked sugar cookies!

Had a dance party and watched the KU/MU basketball game!

Cousin LOVE!

Sunday was Tom's birthday! He had a super cool Cars and Super Bowl party! Before the party we all went to Toys R Us for Tom to pick out train stuff for his birthday and for us to pick out a Valentine's day gift! I got the coolest Barbie puppy that I named Schnauzie (I will have to blog about her later)!

We had such a fun time in Texas! After the Super Bowl we headed back to the hotel to get rested up for an early morning departure from the hotel. After a non-eventful drive we were back in Kansas City just in time for dinner! I sure can't wait until I see my Texas cousins next!

Hair Twirler

I am a hair twirler. I twirl because I "like how the curly cues feel" on my finger. I twirl when I am bored. I twirl when I am nervous. I twirl when I just feel like it. I have even started to twirl mommy's hair when she is near me. Sometimes I twirl my hair so much that I get BIG tangles. Mom and Dad tell me that if my hair gets too tangled they will have to cut the tangles out. I don't care....I just love to twirl. I wonder if I will twirl my hair when I am 40? Maybe, if I still have curly cues!

SO EXCITED!!!

I am so excited. In about 20 hours I will be in the car driving to TEXAS to see my cousins! After school tomorrow Nama, Papa, mommy, daddy and I will all load up in the car and drive the almost 8 hours to see everyone and have SO MUCH FUN! We even get to stay in a hotel....with an indoor pool! We will do lots of things like go to the zoo, go to the children's museum and celebrate Tom's birthday!!! Can't wait!

Right and Left

I know which way is left and which way is right! I will even use it in conversation. For example, this morning I told mommy I have a scratch on my right foot. I am getting really big....almost 4!!
