But wait, there's more!!!

A trip to the mall is not complete on your birthday without a trip to the carousel!  We went last year on my birthday weekend and I was so excited that we did it again!  Mom and I sat in the spinning teacup and spun around and around and around.  Mom got a bit sick....again, but did it because it was my special day - thanks mom!

Special Day continues!!!

Mom and dad continued my super special birthday was a surprise trip to the American Girl store to get Taylor's hair done at the beauty salon!  It was so cool!  I got to pick out the hairstyle and then watch as the stylist did her hair.  I even got a birthday sticker and Taylor got a matching one!

It was such a special thing to do!

5 Year Old!!!

I am very happy to tell you I am not officially 5 years old!!!  I woke up in the middle of the night and leaned over and told mom "it is my birthday, I am 5!".  Mommy told me it was my birthday, then she told me happy birthday, gave me a kiss and told me to go to bed!  when it was finally morning I was so excited to be 5.  I told mom that I did not feel any taller and I thought that just maybe I was still 4.  She assured me I really was 5!

We spent my first morning being 5 having breakfast at the hotel, then spent a long time swimming and doing water slides!  It was the perfect morning!

Take a look at a birthday present from mom and dad....matching outfits for Taylor and me. I LOVE it!

Birthday Eve!!!

Mom and dad surprised me on my Birthday eve with the most exciting news...they were picking me up early from Nama's house and taking me to The Great Wolf Lodge to spend the night and have 2 fun-filled days of water park and FUN!  I was so excited I could hardly believe it!

We had such an amazing time!  We did a lot of swimming and tons of water slides (my favorite was the red one)!  We went out to dinner at a pizza shop, played at the arcade (we had no luck at winning any prizes), went to story time by the clock tower in jammies, met Oliver, talked on the hotel phone, opened a few presents (lots of books), had dessert at the ice cream shop (I had fruit punch since I don't care for ice cream), checked out games and played some in our room, explored the hotel, stayed up late and had SO MUCH FUN!

I loved my birthday eve!  Last day I am 4!!

Valentine's Dinner!

Mommy, Daddy and I all had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner at Jasper's Thursday night!  I was the only kid in the whole restaurant (except another well behaved 4 year old boy) and I loved every minute of it!  I had an awesome mac and cheese and even got to pick out the dessert!!  Happy Valentine's day!!

Kindergarten Round up

Can you believe that I will be going to Kindergarten next year???  I am SO excited about it!  Mommy went to kindergarten round-up at my school this week to learn all about what we need to do to get me all signed up and ready for the BIG school!

Seems like mom and dad have finally decided on kindergarten for me.  Mom has been super stressed about if we should do half or full day.  I don't know what all the stress has been about.  I told them I have wanted to do full day all along!!!

She was planning on half day for months now, but at round-up she realized about 80% of all the kids were signing up for full day and she started to wonder if I would be behind once I got to 1st grade.  After she and dad chatted about it, Aunt Jenny got some advice from her teacher friends, Nama forwarded some online research and they all thought and thought and thought and thought and thought.....they finally landed on full day and mommy is not stressed about it any more.  In fact, they are going to drop off the paper work this week!

I can't wait until kindergarten!!!  I am getting SO big!

Fun day!!!

The other day mommy worked from home and Nama and I met her for lunch and then went to Von Maur!  We had such a wonderful time!  We went to Windsteads for lunch and celebrated Valentine's Day all by splitting a frosty!

Then we went to Von Maur and I just loved trying on lots of fun outfits in the dressing room (they had a 3-way mirror)!  I tried on outfits I would wear any day and even some VERY special occasion dresses.  Check out the last picture - it is me in a First Communion dress!  Don't I look like a bride?!?  We had SO much fun!
