We made sure we were lathered in sunscreen everyday and that I had zinc on my nose and below my eyes (as that is where I tend to burn as I wipe my eyes after I swim under water), but by day 8 we realized we needed to invest in a swim shirt with SPF. So, we picked this one up at the Crazy Shirt store at our hotel and it seemed to do thick. When I felt I was getting too much sun, I would even borrow Dad's hat!
